One of the great things about the RC hobby is the terrain diversity. For example, you can romp around in the dirt, or you can speed around on the street. You can own the air with a plane or chopper, or you can take to the seas with a boat. In this article, I am going to cover taking to the seas with the electric RC boat called the Flying Fish Speed Racing boat. Now, the optimal type of water to run an RC boat on would be a nice smooth lake. I would not recommend trying to race around on choppy waters which makes it harder to keep control and might result in flipping the boat. Another thing to mention is that if you do happen to flip the boat or crash in some way, be prepared to get a little wet. Besides, whats the fun of playing at a lake if you don't do a little swimming?
The Flying Fish is a good sized boat measuring 41 inches in length, 14 inches in width, 10 inches in height, and weighs in around 35 pounds. It is a full function RC boat powered by twin SC550 type racing motors. The propellers are professionally designed and the high-capacity rechargeable battery and quick battery charger make this a long running and high speed boat. Top speed is around 30 miles per hour. It has a Vector-Push design, and it easy to be controlled. The actuating mechanism is 100 percent metal which is very durable and long lasting. The Flying Fish comes 100 percent pre-assembled with glossy exterior paint and is ready to run.
What comes with it? The Flying Fish comes in a full package. The package includes the remote controller, 8AA batteries for the remote, a 12 volt RC2300 rechargeable battery and a 110 volt battery charger adapter.
Who is it for? This a bigger electric RC boat which is more powerful, faster, and more expensive. I would recommend this for intermediate to expert drivers, ages 12 and up. If you have not driven an RC boat before, i would start with something cheaper to get the hang of it and work your way up.

A Quieter Confidence-inspired Range Rover
Land Rover is claiming that the latest Range Rover is made quieter than its forerunner. The 2007 model was also given sharper Rover Range Rover steering to further boost its hushed performance.
Adaptations in the 2007 version include the aspirated 4.4-liter V-8 produces 305 horsepower that produces 325 pounds-feet of torque. The supercharged version, on the other hand, uses a 4.2-liter V-8 that generates 400 horsepower that delivers 420 pounds-feet of torque. Both V-8 engines team with a ZF six-speed-automatic transmission. They are capable of generating far better power than the previous BMW Inline 6.
Rover used the latest advances in car technology to produce enhanced Rover Range Rover brakes, suspension, adaptive headlights, lattice-like grille, a tire-pressure monitor, and Terrain Response system. The latter includes a touchscreen that works with the navigation, audio and phone systems. Said touchscreen conveys off-road traffic information to the driver. Terrain Response system lets drivers dial in even when driving on snow and sand. Said system adjusts throttle, suspension, and brakes to accommodate the terrain. The supercharged version also utilizes an electronic rear differential. Further, the improved air suspension is fitted with an adjustable ride height.
Land Rover is famous for its unsurpassed off-road vehicle capabilities. These capabilities are matched with a brand new look that is brought about by its firmer monocoque body with integrated chassis. The car maker also focused on the modifications of power vents, wheels and lamps.
The SUV accommodates up to five occupants. Its posh interior is trimmed in luxurious leather and wood. The interior is also equipped with Three-zone automatic air conditioning, power seats, and nicely sized leather steering wheel. Backseat DVD entertainment, rearview camera and special stainless-steel pedals are incorporated in the supercharged version of the vehicle.
With regards to safety, 2007 Range Rover is given 8 standard airbags, antilock brakes and all-terrain Dynamic Stability Control to secure car occupants.

94 4L60E/86 700R trans? Wiring is it possible?
Lets try this again. I have a 94 Chevy 2WD w/4L60E trans (2nd install)and would like to put a 700R trans from a 86. I know everything bolts up and yes there is a place on the throttle body to hook up the passing gear. So the question I need answered is this. Is there any way to hook up the electrical from the 4L60E to the 700R by splicing in to it? No there is no known adapter!
The 700r4 will require a signal from the ECM to run the torque converter lockup switch (labeled TCC in your electrical diagram). The 700r4 will use a pressure switch to shift rather than shifting electrically via the ECM. Thats why there would be no adapter ... nothings impossible though. I swapped a 700r4 in place of my crappy old 5 speed. My wiring harness did not have the provisions for the TCC by the transmission. I hooked it up via a toggle switch so I have complete control over the lockup. It helps in towing our camper and keeping the tranny from repeatedly upshifting downshifting in hilly terrain. Heat is the #1 enemy of the 700r4 ... install a cooler if you dont already have one.

EDITOR WES RAYNAL: This car is pricey but good. The excellent engine has little to no turbo lag. The brakes are awesome; the body is nearly perfectly controlled. I don't remember better steering, and the car just feels so tight and fluid.
