Here are some more information for Safety Harness Seat:

You have survived nine months of being pregnant, and who-knows how many hours of labor, and now you get to transport your infant home. You've invested so many months to think about even the most minute thing. Definitively, you tell yourself, things will go as planned. Yet, there is usually something not calculated in that happens or a detail you'd hoped someone had prepared you for. Here are 7 things you should think about when planning for your first child.
Plan for comfortable clothes to wear home. All parents spend hours thinking about how to keep baby comfy for the transport home, but a number fail to plan accurately for their own comfort. A mother's body has just endured an impactful event. Expect that she will be sore and fragile for some time, and she will also carry some "baby weight." The chances of a woman eventually regaining the pre-pregnancy shape are slim, and especially so immediately after childbirth. Of course this is not necessarily a bad thing, it just has to do with the fact that your everyday clothes won't fit the same. So, bring loose, wearer-friendly, clothes that are comfy and cozy. You can allow yourself plenty of time to work your way back into your tight pants, so you needn't fret over that now.
Jot down baby's first follow-up appointment while you're still in the hospital. The first appointment often gets scheduled for a week after birth, but it's best if you have jotted down exactly when.
Don't be shy. You will have tons and tons of questions as soon as the baby arrives. You may feel a little foolish to ask, but the hospital staff counts on you to ask anything. No matter how unusual your thoughts may be, just ask. Keep in mind, it is smarter to get educated than to avoid questions and be ignorant.
Have the baby seat in the car in advance. Put the safety harness in leisurely when you can plan for enough time to adjust it until it is secure. If you have doubts, ask at the hospital or check with the area fire department. Often, they will be happy to help you keep your baby safe.
Prepare for an emotional experience. Absolutely, you will be overjoyed with your newborn. However, you will also be overwhelmed, exhausted, frustrated, short-tempered, needy, depressed, and scared. That is the norm. Between the hormonal impacts occurring in your body and the momentous life-alteration taking place in your home, it is healthy to have many distinct emotions simultaneously. But, if melancholy and anger are overwhelming or do not subside, consult your doctor. Post-partum depression is an illness and should always be dealt with as quickly as possible.
Lie down every time your little one lies down for a nap. On occasion, new moms and dads push their bodies and want to use baby's nap time for unfinished everyday chores. They are under the impression that the dishes have to be caught up on and catching a nap is a luxury. But really, disposable tableware sets are ok, and getting sufficient rest is a requirement. You cannot be an effective parent if you are run down by lack of sleep. Therefore, take the time of the baby's sleepiness, and be ready for a little sleep too.
Get a bouncy seat or swing. Of all the excellent baby products in the world, one of the most underrated is the bouncy seat. At those moments when the little one is completely awake, but you need to settle him down, like when you really need to take a shower, the bouncy harness is a life-saver.
The things I mentioned are just some of the unexpected possibilities to prepare for when planning to bring your new child home. Ask friends and relatives who are moms and dads what they wish someone had shared with them before they had their first child. And always, always, believe in yourself. As long as your loved ones are safe, fed and healthy, anything beyond that is just a wonderful extra!

Baby Trend Infant Car Seat Review
Baby Trend Infant Car Seat is touted to be the number 1 rated infant car seat, thus the high demand in the market. For babies who weight between 5 lbs and 22 lbs and has a height of 28.5 inches or maybe less, this is the ideal car seat.
The Baby Trend Infant Car Seat has a 5-point safety harness which assures the safety of the child. This is the very preference of the parents. They want their children to be safe and protected at all times.
The Baby Trend Infant Car Seat meets the very expectations of the parents. Not only that, the Baby Trend Infant Car Seat has a 4-position push button height that can easily be adjusted. It has a level indicator so that the parents know whether they are properly installing the car seat or not.
The height adjustable seat is another feature which the parents fancy. There is no need to re-thread the harness. There is also a one-hand easy access if ever the parent wants to release the seat.
The ESP energy-absorbing foam is very appropriate for the skin of the child. That is another reason why parents just love the infant car seat. Of course, parents want to make sure that their children are not only safe in the car seat. They also want their child to be really comfortable while they’re in it.
As for the parents, another reason to love the Baby Trend Infant Car Seat is the smooth carrying handle. The weight easily shifts and would not strain the arm of the person carrying it.
It also won’t scratch the arm because the material is safe to anyone’s skin, and not just the child. The boot provides the extra comfort and warmth for the child and there are the Flex-Loc features which are the flexible latch straps that are found on the base. These are not rigid and can easily be adjusted when desired.
The Baby Trend Infant Car Seat is a very impressive model, in fact it is one of the most impressive models around. It has all the comforts and safety features that the children and the parents are looking for.
It is very easy to use and parents can tote the child inside and outside of the vehicle without straining a muscle.
This model from Baby Trend has so many outstanding features that it surely stands out among the pack. The car seat has a 7 position adjustable seat and the shoulder straps properly position the adjustable back by just turning the knob.

Which booster seat is best for my 3yr Old???
I live in australia and my daughter has outgrown her convertable car seat. Just wondering If anyone knows where I can get a booster seat with a 5 point safety harness that goes up to 26kgs (in Australia ). Also what are your thoughts on geting a 5 point harness conpared to the H harness?
Is it correct that the maxi rider converts to a booster at 18kgs? (meaning you have to use a H harness or the cars seat belt when the child is over 18kgs?)
My daughter is 17kgs now so I really want a booster with the in build harness for children up to 26kgs. I know they have a lot of them in the US but I havent been able to find one here ( not even sure if they would be legal here if I was to buy one from the US cant see why not though). Anyway I guess I will have to go with the H harness, but Im not sure if my daughter will leave her harness plugged in I have a feeling she will keep un-doing it and then move around the car. Any ideas on how to get them to keep their belt done up?
Hi, I am also australian and have purchased the Infa Vario Max by secure for my 7 and 4 year olds. They don't have the 5 point harness, but I use them with the H harness and have found them fantastic. My kids can put them on themselves, and it was rated the number one seat in crash tests. $129.00 which is also a good price.
However, if you want a 5 point harness, I personally love the Safe and Sound Maxi Rider II. Quite expensive at $300 + dollars, but a lovely looking seat. Have a browse and ask questions in your local baby store, they will be able to help you out and recommend.
EDIT: Yes, I'm pretty sure once they are 18 kilo's you just use the H Harness, you can't use the 5 point with the Maxi Rider's. Apparently they are too heavy by then for the inbuilt harness to be sufficient.
There are also the safe and sound explorer and pegasus that also have the anti submarining clip as well ( 5 point harness), but I believe they are also for up to 18 kilo's. Yes it is stupid how America can have all these fantastic car seats that take up to 30kg in a 5 point harness and we don't have them. Surely for safety reasons they should be readily available here.
However, a lot of the boosters now have "anti submarining technology", not a clip, but the arm rests are very low, allowing for the seatbelt to be held firmly in the correct position, so it can't ride up. This helps keep the child firmly in place. As far as your daughter undoing her seatbelt, with the harness on this should not be an easy task for her to achieve! But if it is, I do believe you can purchase "seat belt guards" that cover the clips and prevent little fingers from undoing them!
