Here are some more information for Rear Impact Bumper:

A fairly new addition to the traditional families of RV's, toy haulers have made an impact in a big way. The last few years have seen toy haulers evolve into sophisticated garages on wheels. Now you can take the home and the garage on the road. Toy haulers appeal to those who love their toys namely motorcycles, quads and other dirt loving toys. Toy haulers are not only for those who love to go off-road, certain creative types also use the toy haulers garage to have a traveling music studio, video production suite, and other unconventional uses.
These haulers come in the flavors of travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers and even some motorhomes. There are also some compact hybrid travel trailers sporting a heavy duty front deck made for hauling dirt bikes and the like. Travel trailer models can range from a single room hauler with built in furniture that fold up against the wall when bringing in the gear for travel, to models with separate front bedrooms in addition to the garage. Fifth wheel coaches can be had with a small garage, galley midship, and an upper level bedroom. Many can be enormous arrangements though, with 10+ foot separate enclosed garages on the back end, and multi-slideout structures in the middle and upper sections.
Several manufacturers have introduced motorhomes with a separate rear garage in the Class C and Class A style coaches. Many models can range as small as 14 feet in the travel trailer models to well over 40 feet in the ultra large fifth wheel mansions. As stated earlier, most of the hauler RV types can be purchased with slideouts. Travel trailers can be found with one slideout, but fifth wheels can sport up to three, greatly enhancing the indoor living experience. The interiors can range from standard RV style appointments, to luxury models with hardwood cabinets, built in washer/dryers, generators, and patio style sliding glass doors separating the garage from the main house.
Pros:
- RV haulers are great for those who love to camp along with their toys. In the larger models the separated garage keeps the dirt and gas away from the living quarters.
- Toy haulers can also be used for other unintended uses, such as music studios, catering kitchens and so on.
- Fifth wheel haulers can sport massive, expansive interior arrangements, with their tall flattened ceilings, long lengths, and wide bodies, featured in many of the larger models.
Cons:
- In the smaller models, your toys will exist in the same room where you will sleep, so smelling gas or spilling fluids on the floor can lead to getting it everywhere in your rig.
- The larger models can be extremely long with their huge built in garages, limiting where and how easily you can travel to certain locations.
- The garage takes up interior space thereby making the main part of the rig smaller than more conventional RV's of similar length. This is not a concern if you really want a garage, but toy haulers can be very lengthy because of this factor.
Cost:
The cost of toy haulers can range from a low of around $15,000 for a small travel trailer style hauler, to well over $75,000 for the luxurious fifth wheel rigs with all the bells and whistles.
Toy haulers will have a definite appeal to the off-road crowd, and in fact, have made their appearance on the roads of America in a big way. Those who crave a fairly open RV, or a room with little in it, for further customized uses, will also find toy haulers attractive. Those with that special bike, say a Harley will find the garage a perfect place to haul and protect your special rig. Though not your usual RV, toy haulers are a special and interesting development in the Recreational Vehicle marketplace.

The Significance of Bumpers
Safety on the road is one significant factor that every driver should consider. Getting involved in a car crash is definitely one of the most terrible things that you would not want to happen while traveling. Checking the durability of your auto parts, like Acura parts is also another effective method in preventing car troubles. As of today, there are a lot of safety driving tips that you could find on the internet and from other reliable sources. However, following such tips does not offer complete protection for your vehicle's occupants during car collisions. The important thing is to have an effective safety device attached on your car to provide absolute protection for both the driver and passengers.
There are quality safety devices out in the market today along with the ongoing research and development of advanced car safety technologies. Safety belts and airbags are among the safety devices that have been developed by car manufacturers. Most modern cars are equipped with safety technology devices that offer additional protection and accident prevention. These include the anti-lock braking systems, stability control systems, tire pressure sensors, and other patented car safety devices.
One of the most effective external safety devices you can find on your car is the bumper. Car bumpers are located at the front and the rear of a certain vehicle. During a car crash, bumpers can actually absorb the impact generated, thus reducing the damage and injuries taken from the collision. In the previous years, bumpers were originally made of durable heavy steel, but today most modern bumpers are made of various materials such as rubber, plastic, or lightweight metal. Other car manufacturers build bumper covers and bumper guards to increase the durability of the bumper and provide additional protection.
There are laws and ordinances about bumpers in the United States that require car owners to equip their vehicles with front and rear bumpers for safety reasons.

Whether car frame was damaged in an accident when it was hit on the rear bumper?
Someone hit my 2004 Nissan Sentra from the back on the left side of the rear bumper. The impact was so strong that it broke the bumper corner, left it hanging and also raised some metal on the left side inside the cars trunk.
Do you think the car frame has been damaged (that raised metal portion in the trunk makes me think)?? If it has, then, what would be the cost to repair it? The things that I clearly see damaged and gone are: Rear bumper, left tail-lights and the left portion inside the cars trunk.
I got this car second hand for about 7000 bucks and am thinking if the total repair cost would exceed 4000 bucks. In that case, I guess this car could be totaled by my insurance company??
You can have a look at my profile pic for the damaged car part here: http://profiles.yahoo.com/me.bani

It's hard to tell from the pic. But it looks like the quarter panel will have to be straightened and the rear body panel replaced. There may also be some frame damage. Spotting frame damage is easy. Just look under the car and you will see the frame rail. See if there are any curves in it sharper than a paper clip. If there is, the rail will have to be replaced.
But yeah, this looks like a 4000$ dollar accident. Could be less though, like I said, can't tell much from the pic.
