Go Karting- A Sport Suitable For All Genders

The endurance kart racing is a long period race. The period of this race can even go up to twenty-four hours. This race mainly focuses on the reliability and the pit strategy rather than speed. In US, the endurance race is called as enduro, and the race only takes around forty to fifty minutes without the pit stops.
The speedway races are conducted on asphalt or clay tracks. The tracks normally have two straight lengths and four left turns. The speedway races are normally conducted between four- twenty laps. These are the major types of go karting races conducted all around the globe.

how does a go-kart move forward when we press its accelerator ?
When we press the accelerator paddle of a go-kart,what is the mechanism that allows the kart to race forward.Is something attached to the motor.Can anyone tell me through a diagram or an easy explanation.PLEASE HELP!!!!
On ones I've ridden, I've seen a rod that goes along the right side of the go-kart that changes the angular motion of the accelerator pedal to a push-pull motion. From there, it goes to the throttle body of the carburetor, opening and closing a butterfly valve. This lets more air+fuel into the motor. When the motor reaches a critical speed, the centrifugal clutch catches and transfers force to the wheels. (Plates fly outward and catch against a drum.) When the motor speed drops below this critical speed, the clutch releases and allows the motor to idle while the kart is stopped or very slow.
