A BMW’s power relies heavily on precise interaction between engine parts. After all, the German carmaker boasts of producing the ‘ultimate driving machines.’ No matter how intricate and reliable the engine parts are though, the entire system needs a sort of defense to fend off unwanted external elements, damaging sunrays, and even avoid disrupting the smooth aesthetic flow of BMW’s exterior appearance. Guarding BMW’s engine system is the BMW Hood, which is basically a cover with hinges designed and manufactured as a protective gear for most of the interior motor mechanisms, such as the engine, radiator, brake, transmission, and clutch. A concealed latch keeps the hood in place, even as hood pins are added for racing cars. Since the hood is placed over the motor-driven mechanisms, special enhancements can also be installed on the hood. For better exhaust purposes, the power bulge or hood scoop, which houses air filters, could be added on the BMW Hood. Moreover, the wiper jets, where soap and water for the windshield are pumped from, are also found on the hood.

Why doesn't my terminator carbon fiber hood fit on my 03 Hyundai tiburon?!?
Please don't respond to this saying "you have the wrong hood" because I call VIS racing & it IS the right hood. It specifically says 03-06 tiburons. I tried self installation & the first problem was that the bolts that came with the CF hood are too small for the holes on my tib. The bolts fall right thru. & even after buying new bigger bolts the hood fits snug but doesn't close all the way (about 1-2 inch gap in the front. It latches but doesn't close all the way. I think the hood is hitting my engine cover & engine bay cover due to the hoods slit design. Will it work if I remove the covers? If the hoods too close the the engine will it effect it? HELP
It is the wrong one or you are not installing it correctly... by what you say it is the wrong one.... but you already have all the answers, so why are you asking us?
