Titan Cold Air Intake – For Power and Performance
A full sized pick up truck such as the Nissan Titan has got to be a work horse. And sure it is that way since it is designed to be one as well in great detail. A large pick up truck doing a lot of work for an individual is one of the most notable signs of the American life where each person gets a lot done. It is this ability of the American society that has made it a powerful country today.
Now you do have a lot of power available to you when you own a Nissan Titan so it may not occur to you that you could do with some more power. But it is possible that you will be concerned about the impact on the environment of such a large vehicle. The great things is there is a product that can improve the power delivered by the vehicle and also increase the fuel efficiency which will make it more environmentally friendly. This product is a Nissan Titan cold air intake.
A cold air intake is a simple device which creates a big impact. What it does is, it takes cold air straight to the engine. Since the air is cold it is more dense. And because of that more air can be squeezed into the combustion chamber of the engine. And therefore when the fuel is ignited in the combustion chamber there is more oxygen available for it to burn and it burns better. That increases the power generated and since a lesser amount of fuel remains unburnt that improves the fuel efficiency as well. The cold air intake also looks cool on your car. There is one additional benefit, which is that the cold air intake makes a deep roaring sound as the air rushes to the engine. This gives a performance car touch to your car when it is cruising along.
A Nissan Titan cold air intake is not an expensive product and therefore it gives great value for your money. You can read about the various options that are available by going online. You can see the latest Titan cold air intake at www.ilovebodykits.com

Does shell gasoline clean your engine and valves?
seems like a stupid sales gimmick to me. we've all seen the commercials where they show you the valves that came from one car and the valves from another car using shell. incase you havent heres their claim:
Shell claims that its nitrogen-enriched gasoline cleans better than before and protects better against engine buildup. Of note, all three grades of gasoline will contain the nitrogen-enriched detergents, with its V-Power premium grade containing five times the government-mandated amount. The results are fewer intake deposits, cleaner combustion chambers, and less fuel injector fouling and intake valve sticking.
my suspicion is that gas is gas and by saying they put additives in it that improve the properties of the fuel and scientific research and development goes into it is a bunch of bull. i already know 92 octane or "premium" is a gimmick, so all i want to know is whether shell cleans your valves or not.
The real big thing is this - if you have a relatively modern fuel injected engine and you do the regular maintenance on it, you're never going to see the deposits that they show in the commercial unless you're using some truly stank gas. The engine management maintains an optimum air/fuel ratio, and even carbon buildup is fairly minimal. You won't see a blackened, gum loaded valve unless you're engine is misfiring, you have some sort of oil burning problem, or otherwise are in need of serious servicing.
92 Octane is not necessarily a "gimmick" - I require higher octane in both my performance-built engines to prevent them from going into detonation. If you car specifies higher octane (or if you find your car does ping with the engine experiencing load), you may want to try it. It won't "clean" your engine, or perform any better in an engine that lives happily with lower octane - that's nonsense.
Additives in fuel do help, and high detergent content gasoline does keep your fuel injectors in better shape. But you could likely do a similar job by dropping a bottle of fuel injector cleaner into your tank every 6 months or so, and by avoiding those gas stations that may be pumping old, cruddy gas that could cause you issue in the first place. Oh, yeah - and maintaining your car!
In Brief: Tidbits of Cambria news
Does Cambria need two agencies that can provide paramedic service? Trustees of the Cambria Community Healthcare District (CCHD) said no Tuesday, May 25, voting 3-1 not to support the concept of having Cambria Fire Department certified to provide paramedic services.
