Megan Downpipe Subaru Impreza WRX 02-05The missing component between any header and a cat-Back system is the downpipe. A stock downpipe is the ôweak linkö between an aftermarket header and cat-back system. To obtain the maximum amount of power from your engine your entire exhaust system must be unrestricted. A Megan Racing downpipe will complete your set up and give you the high-flow exhaust system that you desire. With a noticeable gain in horsepower and torque, a downpipe is the perfect addition to any performance vehicle. The polished finish adds an aesthetic touch to your new found horsepower. As with other aftermarket exhaust parts, the reduced restriction will give your vehicle a deeper, more commanding sound over stock. Megan Racing Stainless Steel downpipes are made of the same High-Quality T-304 stainless steel that is featured in their Headers and Turbo Manifolds. This material ensures extreme durability and resistance to corrosion and cracking. Audi A5 was introduced by the legendary German automobile manufacturing company Audi's AG Division for the first time in the year 2007, just about two years from now. S5, derivatives of Audi A5 are well known as entry level luxury cars or the high class compact executives. The inspiration to make this model was generated from the two different variants of the fourth generations models, namely the Audi Avant and Saloon.
These cars also succeeded to achieve their target of competing the Mercedes-Benz CLK Class and the BMW E92 models. The Audi S5 and Audi A5 models were introduced at a time in two of the most famous automobile shows named as Melbourne International Motor Shows at Australia and Salon International De 1' Auto at Geneva.
In the A5 model, the basic designing model was adopted from another car named as Nuvolary Quattro. When the Audi-80 based coupe model ended its production in the year 1996, A5 cleared the way of returning Audi to the mid size coupe market. The B8 A4 and A5 were debuted in Audi MLP that was under constructional plan of launching two models of upcoming generation - the A8 and A6.
The A5 raised its performance with its V6 Engine that delivered a power up to a maximum of 261 hp. It was the third coupe launched by Audi followed by the two previous generation's models R8 and TT. A5 was well praised not only for its build quality, but also for its specific design. However, it failed to match the goodness of the BMW 3 series Coupe by the critics.

At first glance, you probably don't realise how much the average family car have been influenced by the intensity and excitement of the World Rally Ch
Though the World Rally Championship might conjure up images of cars emblazoned with advertising speeding through muddy forests or rolling over and over again, the cars that are driven on the racing circuit are actually not dissimilar to many family hatchbacks and sedans. Sure, the WRC cars are stripped to the bone and have a lot more grunt, and of course they're tuned for racing, but beneath all this there's the chassis of a familiar car you might see driving around your local neighbourhood.
So if you're looking for an car inspired by rallying, it's worth noting that Japanese brands like Mitsubishi and Subaru produce vehicles which not only offer the driving excitement and toughness of a rally car, but also include all the creature comforts you need to keep everyone in your family safe and comfortable.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart models come in either hatchback or sedan guises. All Ralliart models come with a 2.0 litre turbocharged and intercooled MIVEC engine under the bonnet, so these vehicles are no slouches in the performance department. A high-performance suspension, dual chrome exhaust pipes, twin clutch sports shift transmission, 18" wheels, and chrome belt line moulding round off this sharp and elegant looking car which is capable of producing a powerful 177kW of power @ 6000rpm. Additional features include sports style seating, a 6-disc CD player with MP3 capabilities and optional premium Fosgate audio system with 9 speakers, alloy pedals, chrome trim, active stability control, hands-free Bluetooth option, and keyless entry. Not forgetting safety of course, all Ralliart models include passenger and driver airbags including side-curtain airbags, and knee airbags for the driver.
Mitsubishi has been producing rally cars since the 1970s and this technology and expertise extends to their family sedans and hatchbacks. But even with this racing pedigree, the Ralliart range remains affordable and practical. In the World Rally Championship, drivers like Tommi Makinen have been able to exploit the Lancer's speed and ruggedness to achieve success, and now the public can get a taste of this in an exciting but safe road-legal vehicle.
Other Japanese car manufacturers like Subaru also have a World Rally Championship history. Their high performance Impreza WRX range was introduced in the 1990s and like Mitsubishi, has achieved a great deal of success on the world rally stage. The Impreza range features permanent all-wheel drive, as do the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart sedan and hatchback, which ensures a firm but nimble ride, and secure handling in all weather conditions including rain and snow. But even on dry roads, the benefits of all-wheel drive inspire confidence for drivers and passengers alike.

Anyone here have a Subaru WRX Impreza with over 100k miles
Hi guys, im planning to buy a car... and the car thats in my mind right now is a 2005 subaru wrx. im planning to buy a used one with under 40,000 miles.
Anyone here have mechanical problems with their car? other than being in a wreck or some kinda freak accident that you or someone did to the car... like daily driving... any problem at over 80k miles?
For exmaple.. the nissan maxima i have right now.. i had to get a new ECU at 4k miles, new suspensions at 50k, new catalyst system 4times..., new starter at 90k miles, new exhaust pipe at 60k, brakes at 55k... yea this list can go on and on. =|
Just to the final part.. how much it cost u to maintain ur Subaru WRX Impreza (doesnt matter what year.. just not the 1998 ones)
Thanks.
I had an 02 WRX for over 110,000 miles. It was pretty modified and I drove the crap out of it and never had a problem. Now I have an 06 wagon which is actually my third one and between all three, I have never taken one back to the dealer for any work. I would think you will be okay as long as they have all the records of scheduled maintenance. No major service is due till 105,000 miles when the timing belt needs to be changed so maintenance cost if very good on these cars too.
