Danica will be racing at Indy soon and the question pops up, Racy or Racer? She has 1 win in 50+ races but is batting 100% with her photos. Thanks to Sports Illustrated her obvious good looks have been exposed and heated up her value such that no amount of Nomex can stop the fire storm anytime soon. It is not her fault that she lends herself so well to the camera lens, but I question her intentions and the image she promotes.
1. Her photo shoots cannot be compared to shoots with other drivers. There is nothing to compare her against out there except Dale Jr. in a pair of wranglers.
2. Most drivers use their fame as winners to promote products where Danica uses her zipped down fire suit.
3. Her reputation as a party girl can be compared to most drivers and should not be held against her. Her web site has some background music with the lyrics, "I'm the life of the party".
4. She is by far the first "competitive female" driver outside Drag Racing.
5. By driving with a thong on she lowers the racing weight by .3 ounces. You see!
That last comment comes from the image she promotes, not because she is merely female. Some speculate that she is trying to Brand herself and gain popularity in the only way available to her with her present winning record or lack there of. Most of this to jump over to a more lucrative racing arena, Nascar. NASCAR?
Oh My! This is another topic for another time. Presently some notable Indy Drivers and winners are sucking wind in Nascar.

Wedding planners are well known these days, but I’ve developed a career centered on just one aspect of the event: dressing the bride. I’m the only one offering this service in Birmingham and I draw clients from smaller surrounding towns as well, so I have enough business to keep me busy. He can see his bride and admire her dress at the wedding, but he doesn’t need to know a thing about it before then.
You’ve never seen women’s boots wear down faster than on a determined bride who marches store to store on a mission to find the perfect wedding dress and I’m happy to be part of it.

Can someone help me choose a pair of active hearing protectors for Drag Racing?
I am heading to some NHRA drag racing (Motorsport) in the US and have been going for years and have used the soft throw away hearing protection.
I'd like to hear the commentary at the track which can normally be picked up via FM frequency radio.
I need some ear muffs (the type that cup over your ears) that:
1) Either have a build in FM receiver or
2) Have an RCA type input that I can attach my ipod or cheap FM receiver
3) Not really necessary, but active (noise canceling) would be good which can also amplify ambient noise so I can still hear people speaking to me.
Maybe I should just get some decent ear muffs and wear my ipod/FM receiver headphones under that ( I assume this may reduce the effectiveness of the muff though?).
Recommendations appreciated.....
Something like the Peltor HRX79AGU or Elvex AM/FM Radio Earmuffs, QuieTunes?
OK Buddy hear is what I would do.. get a pair of Walkers Game ears..... you can hear normally but when there is a loud noise it cancels it out.... you can get them at a good sporting goods store or even Wal-Mart. good luck.. Dint loose your hearing like I did.
