Here are some more information for Nascar Carbon Fiber:

You've decided you either want a new kart seat, or your new and you just need one to race. There are many factors to consider when choosing.
Seat placement
Generally on a straight kart it will be placed in the center of the kart. On an offset kart for oval racing it usually is placed farther left.
Types
There are some different styles and materials that they are made out of and it's not too large of a collection, so it makes your choice easier. Here are the main ones you will see:
Fiberglass Kart Seats
Fiberglass is usually the choice of most racers. It has a nice finish, and is strong to a point. Fiberglass are popular for the same reasons fiberglass bodies are. They are easy to patch up if they crack a little bit. They also come out with a good finish when painted. It is a strong lightweight material.
Plastic
Plastic bends but doesn't break, but when they do break, you can't really fix it. This is probably the 2nd mots popular type but still not that close to the fiberglass ones.
Carbon Fiber
These are the most expensive and the highest quality, as well as the lightest. If you have the money it is a good investment. If you have ever seen carbon fiber it has a unique look to it, like it's woven together. This is a strong material as well, but rarely seen in karting.
Kart Racing Seat Designs
When picking a seat, you have different design choices to pick from. Here are some:
Lay down Seats
These are the choice for most racers. It has the least wind resistance, and most feel it's more comfortable. The only downside is for shorter people and seeing over the steering wheel.
Upright Seats
These are the original seats in karting, and are just more upright than the lay down seats.
Sizes
The best way to really check for your size is to sit in a seat. But if you want to get a rough estimate, they come in mostly general sizes like, extra small, small, medium, large and extra large.
Padding
There is padding out there you can buy specifically for kart seats, but most people find it best just to add their own, using anything from duct tape to foam.

Our Carbon Fiber Hoods: Strength, Lightness, and Beauty
Whenever a hardcore sports car passes us by, we can't help but drool over its hot exterior. The appearance attracts us to want to keep on staring. Guess what? You can stop the staring and actually have one of your own. There are a plethora of choices to look over when you're investigating ways to re-design the style of your vehicle. The two materials favored by most body kits are fiberglass and urethane. But, those two can't compare to the awesomeness of carbon fiber hoods.
Lately, carbon fiber has been highly sought after for both external and internal car parts. Carbon fiber hoods are especially popular among car enthusiasts. Carbon fiber hoods are extremely beautiful and gives your car an amazing, expensive finish that other materials don't.
The quality of its appearance is not carbon fiber's only positive characteristic. There are many performance benefits that are associated with carbon fiber car parts such as carbon fiber hoods. With carbon fiber, there's no need to sand, prep, or paint. Imagine all the money you'll save from not having to furnish money to receive these services! More often than not, carbon fiber parts can be installed after they are removed from their packaging. All you need to do to maintain the aesthetics is regular washing and waxing.
Another positive is the fact that carbon fiber isn't as heavy as metal so your car carries less weight and there will be less drag. For instance, if you replace an OEM steel hood with any of the carbon fiber hoods out there, you can knock off 25 pounds of weight. The less weight you put on a car, the better it will perform in gas mileage, faster braking, quicker acceleration, and gets through curves better. Did you know that the Boeing 787 Dreamliner passenger airplane is made with carbon fiber components making it significantly lighter than most airplanes which allow it to use 20% less gas compared to other planes of equal size? Did you also know that Nascar racers have been using carbon-fiber parts in their vehicles for years now?
Usually lightweight brings to mind weakness and lack of resistance. Carbon fiber hoods prove itself above that generalization. You begin with fibers and they are integrated together to create several layers of a crisscross pattern. Afterwards, a powerful, yet flexible, resin is poured to tightly pack in the material. Although it's not invincible, it can definitely handle more damage than fiberglass could.
In conclusion, there are many advantages to carbon fiber. Get one of those carbon fiber hoods! You'll experience first hand what everyone is raving about. Try it today for better performance, higher cost-efficiency, and gorgeous aesthetics.

who's the biggest Nascar fan?
i need some answers from some nascar fans that know their stuff.
im not much of a nascar fan so i wouldn't know, but i was wondering...why don't they try and speed things up in the sport since they race mainly ovals and have such a high HP.
like by reducing some weight, instead of having sheet metal bodies why not carbon fiber bodies like most other racing leagues. also why don't they make the pit stops quicker like the open wheel leagues?
because that's not how they roll in nascar. why would nascar want to be more like other leagues when they are the most popular in north america already? last thing nascar needs is suggestions to become more like other leagues. the bodies and engines are produced according to certain specs in nascar's "semi-flexible rulebook" and seeing as the original intent was for nascar to stand for "national association for stock car auto racing" the idea is to keep the cars resembling something like a stock car. granted, they're nowhere near that anymore, but making the changes you suggest would make them even less recognizable as "stock cars."
as for the pit stops, they need to stay the way they are - that's the closest thing to "real life" that there is in what was meant to be stock car racing. people can identify with jacking up a car, removing lug nuts, and changing a tire pretty much like they do now. pit like indy cars and you remove the last major connection for the fans to make to the sport on a visceral level.
