The new seven seater Nissan Qashqai is heading our way. The new Nissan Qashqai is being made available for the first time as a seven-seater, designed to compete with the likes of the Opel Zafira and SUV type vehicles like the Toyota RAV 4.

The Qashqai's design takes cues from the design sheets of the world's SUVs and MPVs, a fusion of styles which lend it consummate practicality, the advantages of a high driving position and the driving dynamics, for the most part, of a standard family hatchback. At 4.53m long with a wheelbase of 2.77m, the new Nissan Qashqai is larger on every measure by comparison to the donor car, the original 5 seater Qashqai.

The Qashqai will be available in Spain with a large range of engines: two petrol engines, a 1.6 and a 2.0l with 114 and 141 CV respectively and two Renault sourced diesel engines, a 1.5l developing 106 CV alongside a 2.0l pumping out 150 CV. Both of the higher powered variants, both diesel and petrol will be available with both front and four-wheel drive.

The smaller engine cars will only be available with front wheel drive. As far as the drivetrain is concerned, the Qashqai will be available with a five speed manual gearbox or, as an option across the range, an automatic with six ratios. The added weight of the car given its larger size has meant that Nissan's engineers have had to review suspension settings as well as the powered steering rack to compensate for the extra bulk of the car.

The interior of the new Qashqai has also been tweaked to distinguish this larger version from the 5-seater car. The front grille has now been given a new look and the rear doors are wider than in the five seater. Now available as options are roof racks installed by the manufacturer as well as a panoramic roof spanning the length of the car's roof.

First impressions of the Qashqai fitted with the larger of the two diesel engines , used to power a large number of Renault's cars like the Laguna and Megane, are that its driving and handling characteristics are closer to a family hatches' than an SUV of equivalent size. Hatchback like driving dynamics mated to the economy of the same kind of car make this a viable alternative to many of the larger, thirstier SUVs out there whilst sacrificing a limited amount of practicality. The Qashqai in this guise is sure to sustain and develop the success of this quirky Nissan.

Features You Should Know About Reverse Sensor Sydney

It is estimated than 33 percent of all car accidents are caused by human error when reversing and parking the car. This statistic should alarm everyone who drives because they too, are vulnerable to errors whether due to sleepiness, confusion, misjudgment, or poor eyesight. Fortunately, there is a way to minimize this problem in Australia. Reverse sensor Sydney providers can significant reduce your vulnerability to car accidents by providing you with additional safety equipment.

The reverse sensor Sydney materials is 100% safe, reliable, and easy to use. The highly responsive mechanisms of this gadget will alert you when your vehicle becomes critically close to any object at the rear. Its advanced alert sensor can protect your vehicle from various damages like scrapes, bumps, and dangerous collisions.

How Does the Reverse Sensor in Sydney Work?

Different sensors have its individual specifications. But what is notable among every reverse sensor Sydney seller is the high level of service they provide to drivers and customers. The latest driving technology is also available in the area so people can be sure that they are getting the most sophisticated systems for their cars.

For example, ultrasonic reverse parking sensors are readily available. In general, reverse sensors are automatically activated when you use the reverse gear. Inconspicuous alert mechanisms are recessed at the rear of the car where they will transmit ultrasonic radio waves.

Whenever there is an obstacle on the path of the vehicle, the sensor will send a warning to the driver. The internal buzzer will also increase in frequency if you are still nearing the object. Usually, a continues buzzing tone means that you are within 0.35m or around a feet away from collision.

Features of Buying from Reverse Sensor Sydney Seller

Auto parts sellers in Sydney provide superior parking sensors that are compatible with various types of vehicles including 4x4s, SUV, van, MPV, and motorhome. Some items also have the benefit of being maintenance-free because the equipment uses electromagnetic technology.

  • Battery-Efficient – because this gadget will only be activated when you place your car in reverse, it will not drain your car battery and can last for a long time.
  • Easy to Fit – if your car does not come with this technology, reverse sensors Sydney are actually quite easy to fit. Most items come pre-wired and are ready to be plugged together. Simply find several connections to the vehicle including the ground and the reversing light and you’re set to go.

(91) Mazda MPV Brake Problems?

Really weird. Today i go driving around as per usual, nothing wrong. Then on my way back to home i notice that i have to depress the brake a tad further than usual. Nothing alarmed me so i kept going. Eventually i had to press the brake harder and harder... so i stopped at a parking lot, turned off the car, pressed the brakes till it went back to the right 'feel'. On the way back home same thing happened until it depressed right to the floor (Brake!) light went on and so did the anti-lock. Finally got home, (brake and anti lock light went off again as i floored it to brake). First thing i checked was my brake fluid level. Full. Nothing out of the usual. Then i went around to do a visual check on the brakes... again same thing.. perfect.

So what could be wrong with my brakes?
Also, when i do eventually floor it, the car does brake fully.

The anti lock brake light coming on can be caused by, well, anti anti-break lock activities. I once drove through snow in a parking lot, that bumped the sensor wires on the anti brakes and made the light come on.

Go through any heavy rains or run over anything recently that might be around the time you started having this problem.

I'd say as far as the general brakes, the master cyl. is going or you're loosing vacuum or a vacuum line is off or has a hole in it. Or, possibly, there's a leak in the line that is causing it but it just hasn't caused enough fluid to drain for you to notice it. That, or air in the lines and you shouldn't have that unless the lines have been opened, ran out of fluid or had brake work done recently.
