Contrary to popular belief Dean was not speeding at the time of his accident. He was traveling along the road when a vehicle turned almost right in front of his path. James Dean died on impact at the age of 24.
Ayrton Senna is the next on our list. This Brazilian racecar driver was known for his top speeds and ability to win grand prix after grand prix. Senna died doing what he loved best whilst competing in the third race of the season, the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola.
Shortly before the day of the race Austrian Driver Roland Ratzenberger was killed during qualifying. Senna started the race with something to prove after not being able to finish the first two races of the season so far he was still determined to win the season. Shortly after the race started he had already had the fastest lap but at the Tamburello corner the car left the track at high speed and crashed in to a concrete wall. Senna was airlifted to Bologna hospital but the 34 year old driver was declared dead later that day.
With the exception of Ayrton Senna is goes to show that people living their everyday lives are very prone to an accident and can be killed sometime with out it even being their fault.
