Not many people know that original Prince of Persia was released in 1989 and it was 2D platform game that has invented the action platform game genre. Nevertheless, Prince of Persia didn't become famous until Ubisoft bought the franchise and released Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time. Many sequels followed but the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remains the best Prince of Persia game that brought this amazing franchise into new 3D environment.
The latest installment Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands has been released for several gaming platforms but Ubisoft carefully adjusted and changed the mechanics of the PSP version so it could meet its hardware power. Gameplay is changed but it's still the good old Prince of Persia as we know it. Greatest surprise is that the game isn't in 3D, instead it uses 3D characters in side scrolling environment. Why did developers decide to go back to the 2D mechanics? It is known that Prince of Persia is a hard game and it would be even harder, especially on PSP if you had to adjust camera before each jump. Therefore, developers have decided to stick to good old mechanics so the players can focus on precise jumping and acrobatics instead of camera positioning.
As for the story, Prince is running from the fire demon that is responsible for the disappearing of the royal family. On his quest, Prince joins forces with Helem, the friendly spirit, so they can defeat the common enemy. By joining forces with Helem Prince has acquired time control powers that are common in Prince of Persia games. We remember them from the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time when they were introduced first.
So in order to get to the end of the level Prince and Helem have to work together, Prince with his acrobatic skills and Helem with time control. Halem can even freeze sand, traps, or enemies and she will revive Prince if he falls from the platform. She will take you back into the past, at the last room that you've entered but the time travel will drain your energy a bit. If your energy drops to zero you'll be revived at the last checkpoint.
As for controls, they work rather well. You move Prince with directional pad, and analog pad is used for moving Halem, but that doesn't work well as it should. For example, Halem highlights all the objects that you can slow down or speed up with the L and R button, but sometimes she misses the object and focuses on something else. Only way then is to use analog pad and move her to the desired object. That could be harder than you think and it can get quite frustrating especially if you fall down because of it and you have to repeat the entire room all over again. Of course, there are fighting sequences from time to time and they are rather simple because you're fighting with two opponents in most cases.
On each combat sequence, you need to carefully dodge attacks and look closely before attacking. Combat sequences tend to get repetitive and boring because there aren't any complex combos that are available on other platforms. Therefore, the simplest way would be that you throw your opponents onto each other and complete the sequence faster that way. There are bosses available but fight with them is simple and just bit more complex than the fight with ordinary enemies.
On the end of each level, number of deaths and your time calculates your score. Better score earns more crystals that can be used for unlocking bonus materials, such as cut-scenes and concept art. In addition, there are mana orbs that are scattered across the map and they are used for purchasing heath upgrades or for purchasing stronger attacks. Since all the fighting sequences are same, repetitive and they can be completed with single throw many players will invest all their points in health upgrades so that they can have more tries before returning to the last checkpoint.
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is long and a hard game and the more you play it, the harder it gets. Overall, it's a good game, but fighting sequences are repetitive and boring and the controlling Helem can be quite a bother, so you might lose your patience with this game. Still, it's a good game, not good as the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, but still good game for the hardcore fans of Prince of Persia.
The Plain Truth About Herbert W Armstrong….
...or old Herbie if you prefer. The thing is, Herbie wasn't bananas and he didn't buy Vee Dubs, he bought Rollers, now there's a clever 'apostle'!!
OK, with justifiable mocking and sarcasm apart, what is it about the conundrum that is, or was, Herbert W Armstrong and his so called Worldwide Church of God? I say ‘is’ because this man affected and still does affect so many people's lives in such a negative way; even today, and even though he died over twenty years ago, the nauseous ‘hangover’ caused by his teaching has left its mark on all of us who were ‘touched’ by it. The ironic part about this ‘hangover’ is that there was no merry making or booze-up before the after affects took their nasty toll; a lose; lose situation if you like, or a real bum deal if ever there was one.
Anyone who is a rescued victim of a D.M.C. (a DeMoniC - Domination, Manipulation and Control belief system) or a systematic mind controlling cult will tell you of the trauma involved within the healing process. In my view there are no greater wickednesses than those of men who do evil in the name of God and Herbert W Armstrong was such a man. Whether or not he committed those evil sins knowingly and/or willingly I do not know – only The Lord Jesus Christ and The Father know, and perhaps those closest to him and/or those so and so's on his payroll. One thing for sure I do know is this, I was one of his victims and it behoves me to speak out with The Truth and warn those who may be thinking of joining the ‘botox’ version of WCG or one of the numerous evil splinter groups that have spewed out of same since the mid to late 1990’s. These wretched splinter groups formed when WCG re-invented itself with a skin deep veneer or make over as a denomination (demon-ination) of mainstream Christianity (churchianity). So I therefore level this at them today. If they still operate a centralised, financial, money making organisation, whether it be here in the UK or in the United States, they are still a DMC cult and no better than Rome. In actual fact they are worse, for they should know better.
As an aside, I will add this too; people who put their trust in DeMoCracy (Demon-ocracy) are really just as conned and brainwashed as the victims of DMC cults - the technical term for this condition is cognitive dissonance. I call it the Pig’s Swill Syndrome, for modern humanity sits in front of their TV screens, every day like pigs at their troughs, slurping the propaganda and lies into their minds as fast as the bent and corrupt media hacks can dish their pig's swill up. How do you know that, I here you say? Quite easy, because Satan is the god of this world and the arch-deceiver – the prince of the power of the air (waves), and DeMoCracy (Demon-ocracy) is a major control tool (via the corrupt media) of this world (age) – Satan’s world (age). To prove that it is his world/system, we even go fighting and killing people in foreign lands in order to illegally foist this evil corrupt system upon them. Our so called Demon-cratic leaders do this by killing our own people at home in so called Islamic inspired terror attacks. They do this in order to make out that these Islamic foreign nations are our enemies. It’s all based on fear, folks – fear is their number one control weapon. It was all based on mind controlling fear in WCG and it’s all based on mind controlling fear, generally, in our societies through the bought and corrupt media puppets of your DeMon-Cratically pre-selected governments. So, the next time you see a headline or hear a news report based upon fear or it’s something that makes you feel fearful, you then know it’s a propaganda lie. As I write, their latest fear trick is ‘swine flu’ and like ‘bird flu’ it’s all humbug; purposely designed to keep the people in a permanent state of fear. I will be writing an article soon on Islam and how the PTB (Powers That Be – the Vatican and Canaanite Banksters) are using Islam and the Islamic people as whipping boys and/or scapegoats/tools in their plans to march towards their New World Order; One World Bank; One World Religion and, ultimately, their One World Government.

Please excuse me, for I’ve gone off at a sharp tangent above, but a very necessary tangent in order for you to understand what is going on in our evil 21st century world and to realise that HWA was only a tiny cog in a very large demonic machine. Furthermore, do yourselves a favour, turn off the brainwashing screen in your living rooms and start to open your eyes and SEE!! (Two years ago I kicked TV out my house altogether, and a far more peaceful place it is, too, because of it.)
OK, returning to the thread; so after having worked my way through the healing process, I then had the problem of the questions – WHY? What was it all about? How did this evil thing happen to me and to my fellow ex-Worldwiders? Why did The Father and/or the Lord Jesus Christ allow this to happen to us? Most of us who have survived intact since leaving WCG (for I will tell you straight, more than a few dear souls committed suicide, such was their fear filled, unbalanced, state of mind) will probably state quite clearly that when we were baptised we committed ourselves totally to the Lord Jesus Christ and because WCG was ‘The True Church’ we felt we had ‘come home’ when we joined. Now this beggars the question; how did Armstrong manage to make it feel like ‘home’? Easy; preach and teach The Truth; but hang on - wait a minute; Armstrong was an evil liar wasn’t he; a con man and a charlatan – a snake oil salesman? Yes, precisely, but in order to be convincing and sound as if he was the real deal, he had to know some of The Truth or even a lot of The Truth, especially regarding the origins of the True Church, in order to fool us suckers. If Armstrong’s teaching had been a pack of lies from start to finish or even anything remotely like mainstream Christianity, he would not have attracted any following at all. We need to understand this crucial point; most of us in WCG came out of mainstream Christianity anyway. We had been failed miserably by them in the past, so we already knew that the Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion was a corporate fiction; a meaningless system of religious mumbo jumbo based upon Satan’s substanceless vain traditions of men – a complete counterfeit with its origins from Cain/Babel/Babylon and Rome.
Now here is another irony; the fact that mainstream Christianity does teach a pack of lies and does have billions of deluded adherents and followers, what does this tell us? Quite simply, it tells us that HWA did not have a monopoly in the DMC cult system. Man, generally, loves to be led, conned and controlled; he loves to be lied to, so he naturally believes in lies and has done so ever since the Garden of Eden. Moreover, Rome has been operating this same Cainite-Judeo-Christian-Religious DMC system for nearly 2,000 years. All HWA did was copy their methods and use the Judeo-Mosaic Law instead of conjuring tricks – or now you see it – now you don’t. He used The Judaic Law to hold us in fear through threatening annihilation in the Lake of Fire if we stepped out of line and didn't OBEY. If there was a problem it was never the church's fault, only ours. In popish intellectual or theological circles they call it syllogistics. To you and me that means they make it up as they go, or, as it suits them and then call the figure head infallible. You see it’s easy to win the game and rule the roost when you own the ball and the referee and make all the rules up as the match is being played and even move the goal posts when necessary.

Back to HWA; now in this article I am not going to get into Armstrong’s alleged crimes or his evil conduct and sins, as they are more than well documented elsewhere on the worldwide web. There are numerous websites out there which I would avoid like the plague, if I were you, or if you value your Spiritual welfare. Let’s face it, one can only call HWA nasty names once, or maybe twice if you feel the need to get it off your chest. After that it all becomes a pointless exercise, counter productive, and harms the name caller and no one else and especially not HWA as he is dead in his grave and can’t hear us anyway. What you will find, though, on some of these web pages, is this anger and bitterness toward HWA spilling over and then turned against the Lord Jesus Christ and The Father with a cynical and mocking attitude towards The Word of God. This, for me, is far more serious and distressing to witness, as these people blame God more than they blame Armstrong. Furthermore, I also find this very strange, but one thing these people never do is take any responsibility for their own part in being deceived by this con man and ravening wolf. OK, I know it’s hard to admit to the fact that you’ve been had and conned, but there we are – stuff happens, as they say these days. In the world (the system or the matrix; call it what you will), millions of people are being ripped off by con artists every day, and no more so than by their own democratically (Demon-cratically) voted for governments, and all the while, as this world spirals out of control and into Satan’s abyss.
So what was all this Truth that HWA had? Simple, he had most of it except for one monumental chasm - a black hole of satanic evil – a total pit of darkness – which was, NO GRACE. His organisation was Graceless and he was Graceless and his spiritual thugs who had the nerve to call themselves ministers were Graceless too. Grace was a completely foreign concept to these WCG Judaising Galatianist people. The Mosaic Law reigned supreme within HWA’s mind and thereby within his organisation. In Truth I cannot emphasise this issue strongly enough. Armstrong and his henchmen or minders (ministers) were a bunch of modern day Pharisees – law keepers, ‘i’ dotters, ‘t’ crossers and gnat strainers of the worst kind.
OK, so now we know what he got wrong, but what did he get right? If we are strict with him – not much, because he plagiarised most of everything he taught, from British Israel to Christian Universalism and never once giving credit to any of his sources. Now are the two groups I've mentioned here i.e. British Israel and Christian Universalism, of The Truth? Yes of course they are. How can they be The Truth? Easy, because those who believe in the teachings of mainstream Christianity disagree with these two groups and this truthful teaching. All very depressing, but that's religion and legalism for you, and when it came to legalism old Herbie was king of the heap. The dung heap that is!!
