Go karts are the very high speed moving cars which are raced only on the slow down circuits. This go kart racing is generally accepted as the most economic way of motor sporting. Since it is a free time activity, they can be performed by almost everybody. Go cart racing is one of the sports which are regulated by FIA (under CIK). They are permitting licensed racing for almost everybody. Even an 8 year kid can also participate in this go cart racing.
In USA go kart racing are not regulated by FIA all the time but there are some organizations which they regulate this go cart racing. Some of the organizations are World Karting Association (WKA), International Kart Federation (IKF), Karter's of America Racing Triad (KART), International Racing Association (IRA) etc and also the more recent stars presented by the Indy Racing League.
A variety of sport kart circuits permits the race to be practiced. However, only homologated tracks are used for the official races in Europe. As mentioned earlier, even a small kid with 8 years can participate in this go kart racing but generally they are conducted with Kid Karts. In kids kart racing, only kids who are below 14 years can participate. However, senior division starts from the age 15 years itself. As in USA, this go cart racing slowly got spread in other countries too and particularly in Europe, go cart racing can be found all over the year.
Similarly in UK, Motor Sport Association (MSA) regulates this go cart racing. Sometimes, some organizations regulate this racing and some of the organizations in the UK who take part in regulating the go cart racing are NatSKA (National school Karting Association). They organize the race meeting throughout the year under the authority and control of MSA.
Similarly, in Australia, this go cart racing regulates and administrated by the Australian Karting Association on behalf of FIA and CAMS.
There are different classifications of race formats and they are:
1) Sprint
2) Endurance
3) Speedway
Racing categories are of two categories. They are national as well as international. National racing will be regulated within the national level tournaments. International level tournaments are conducted in different regions every year and people from many countries participates in the tournament.
Lot of people are attracted towards this race and hence many people from different countries come to the destination where this go cart racing takes place.

Minor League Wade Champeno Racing Team to Run Asa Late Model Series Challenge Series in 2008
The Wade Champeno Race Team to run the ASA lATE Model Challenge Series in 2008. The team was started in 1989. The team ran all sorts of races from Go Karts to Street Stocks to Modifieds to Late Models on a local level till 08 where the Team has branched out to run this Minor League Race Series. The Team has had a very successful past and plans to have successful future as well.
The Wade Champeno Race Team has competed on a national level once before but it was in go karts and the team has acheived three national titles in the famious Wka go kart racing series. The driver of the race team is 26 year old Wade Champeno out of Imler, Pennsylvania and he has been driving since the age of seven years old. How can I make this kart turn?
I race go-karts in the WKA. I have an ultramax chassis and we run burris tires because of track rules. If anybody has any idea about what I'm talking about, how can I get this thing to turn? I race dirt oval and many of our adjustments just don't seem to cut it.
I had a few ultramax centerforce chassis. Only one track that I raced at had the burris tire rule. I ran the same setup there week after week. Depending on what the track is like can change a setup so even if I could remember what we used to do that setup might not work very well for you.
Stagger is key in getting around a track. We would buy really wide rims and stretch the tires till they looked like footballs!!
If your having problems with grip you can get some spray that will soften the compound of the tires. You can spray it on, wrap it in plastic wrap, let it sit for at least 24 hours, remove it a few hours before the race and spray it again then let them sit in the sun. This does a great job of softening up tires for more grip.
If you have access to four corner scales, try scaling it out and adjust your weight. Ballast is a tool, it may slow you down, but sometimes a better handling cart can beat a faster one.
