mario kart wii WFC help! (friends race)?
ok so i want to have my friends race me an Mario Kart. We both set up our numbers and stuff and now when we try to race it says "connecting to nintendo WFC..." this is our first time..so does the wii or mario kart have to syncronize first ot something? HELP EM PLEASE!

the game needs to connect to the server before you play online. Like the internet. reconciling you have no idea how this works, ill explain. The wii has a router in it that releases a signal to the other wii systems. By releasing this signal, the wii's send out packets to each system to pick up so it will know what your both doing. By saying, "connecting to wfc..", its just trying to find another server to connect to so it can send out these packets to play. I really dont see how this is a problem, just wait for it to connect....
