Not nearly as well-known as familiar oil and standard air filters, many drivers may never even have heard of a cabin air filter. Usually located either inside the passenger compartment near the glove compartment, or under the hood near the windshield, they are used to filter air drawn into your car from the outside for the comfort of passengers, as well as for use by air conditioning and heating systems. They are designed to minimize particles both large and small, as well as allergens and other contaminants and are used in approximately 80% of the vehicles built since the 2000 model year. It is recommended that they be replaced on either an annual basis, or every 15,000 miles. Like any other automotive filter, neglecting to do this can lead to possible risks to your vehicle and/or passengers, in this case including impeded performance of your heating or air conditioning systems by limiting the flow of fresh clean air used by those systems, as well as possible corrosion inside the system and musty or even noxious air vented throughout the vehicle. Here are some more information for Intake System Acura:

With gas prices continuing to empty our pockets, thousands of people are turning to a simply system which is basically a homemade hydrogen generator in order to supplement their gasoline usage and save money at the pump.
The principle behind a homemade hydrogen generator is that hydrogen can be effectively extracted from water using a simple process know as electrolysis. Don't be fooled by the scientific sound of the word, as a matter of fact it barely merits being called a "process". Electrolysis is simply running a current through water. In our case the homemade hydrogen generator uses a current flowing through a relatively small reservoir filled with water.
The reservoir is mounted underneath the hood of the vehicle and is the core of the homemade hydrogen generator, as it generally hold the water as well as housing the electrical parts for electrolysis atop the cover. During the process the special hydrogen gas, also known as HHO is extracted from the water. The resulting gas mixture is 2/3 hydrogen gas and 1/3 oxygen. This mixture then travels from the homemade hydrogen generator to the engines air intake, and then into the combustion chamber itself.
The purpose of the homemade hydrogen generator is not to replace gasoline, only to supplement it's usage. Many people have began using the homemade hydrogen generator simply because it increases the fuel economy of any vehicle and also results in cleaner emissions and more power in most cases.
The homemade hydrogen generator itself can be built using very inexpensive parts from the hardware store. You may also want to wire the electrolysis setup to automatically begin sending current as soon as the key is placed in the ignition position. By doing so, you won't have to fuss with switches and it will begin generating the HHO gas immediately.
If you're not sure exactly how to do this, or don't know which parts to get, I highly suggest that you visit my review of the Top 3 Guides [http://www.squidoo.com/hho-fuel-kits-review] available. These guides are not required for the project but will show you step-by-step how to do the whole conversion and instead of spending all weekend trying to figure out everything, you can complete the whole project in an hour or so.
Bruce's Top Guides Review [http://www.squidoo.com/hho-fuel-kits-review] will help you select the homemade hydrogen generator plans that are right for you.
Acura Tl Receives Upgrades
In the luxury car segment, a car manufacturer has to be always on the lookout on how to improve a car whenever it is called for. Established in 1986, Acura is a relative newcomer to the luxury car segment. But the quality and popularity of their models belie that fact. The Acura TL, in fact, is the second best selling luxury sedan in the United States and it is next only to the BMW 3 Series.
To compete with a long list of competitors which includes the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Cadillac CTS, Infiniti G35, Jaguar X-Type, Lexus ES, Mercedes-Benz C Class, Saab 9-3 and the Volvo S60, the TL was redesigned recently by the Japanese car manufacturer.
The best selling Acura model was restyled not only on the outside but also inside and even under the hood. Outside, the new Acura TL is characterized by rounded edges which give you the feeling that the car would cut through the air gently. In fact, the Acura TL’s redesign gave it a lower coefficient of drag. This makes the new TL come with a sportier look than its predecessor.
Inside the car, Acura used high quality materials to give it the luxury aura that it exudes. Complementing the exterior of the TL, the inside has comfortable leather seats. The seats adequately support both the lower and upper back of its occupants. To make the cockpit more appealing, Acura gave the TL a dual-zone climate control system which is easy to operate. The interior of the TL is adequately padded that little to zero outside noise can be heard inside the vehicle.
The dashboard and center stack are configured to complement the luxurious seats. The center stack of controls is easily visible and understandable. It is also equipped with an eight-speaker surround sound audio system.
The most notable upgrade for the Acura TL is made under its hood. The new Acura TL is now equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine capable of producing as much as 286 horsepower. The engine’s power can be effectively increased with the use of an AEM Acura intake but even without that aftermarket part, the engine provides instant power whenever the driver demands for it.
The engine is designed to provide power almost instantly. Its responsiveness is evident in the fact that it can provide adequate power whether in low or high revs operation. Available for the Type S trim level of the TL is a five-speed automatic transmission. The TL uses paddle shifters which mean that a driver would only need to use his or her hand to shift gears.
The engine provides good power for the TL that it can easily tackle hill climbs. Steering the luxury car is also a strong selling point for the TL. Its responsive handling complements the responsive engine under its hood. Suspension for the Type S is somewhat stiff. This is because the S Type is a performance-oriented trim line.
With the upgrades that the TL has received, it will not be surprising if the popularity of the brand increases. Acura is the luxury division of Honda and it is a known fact that vehicles of these brands are known for heir reliability. With that reputation and the changes made in the exterior, interior and under the hood of the TL, the car would surely give the BMW 3 Series a good fight in the auto market.

how do i fix "system is too lean" P0171 on my acura csx?
i have a short ram intake and i kno that this is causing the problem i just want to know how to correct it so the check engine light doesn't come on...i have already hooked up my car to an OBD reader and cleared the code but then after a while it comes back with the same P0171. PLEASE HELP!!
The ram intake should not be the problem. Sounds like a fuel delivery problem. Check your fuel pressure. If it is lower then it should be it could be the regulator or possible a pump problem. Also make sure your battery is showing 13.5 volts when running. If it is less, this would make the fuel pump not work correctly.
