The typical single beam HID Conversion Kits comprises HID Bulbs and HID Ballasts. Ballast is a power converter usually from normal headlights 55 watts into 35 watts. HID ballast starts the lamp and let the electricity to flow continuously through the bulb to keep the light on. HID ballast has been divided into three categories that are used with high intensity discharge lights. These are magnetic ballasts, electronic ballasts, and digital ballasts. and i already got a performance pcm so yeah....
your probably going to be adding about 35-40 horse power it , i got about the same thing on my truck and it runs right at 300 horse power,we put it on a Dino and tested it,at the rear wheels running around,4000 rpm,s it runs a good 290 horse power,all the ignition does is let it burn the gas a lot better,but 290 isn't to bad considering what it will do for it,be careful on the plugs you choose to use in that one my ignition will burn plugs out in a day the only thing i can use that will stay in it is champion platinum plugs and they will last,you,ll gain enough to notice on it,good luck.
