I really want to go with an inline 6 as the powerplant. I'm sick do death of smallblocks, no matter what brand they are. Can anyone recomend a good inline 6 that responds well to performance upgrades? It doesn't matter who made it (GM,Ford,or Chrysler) I was hoping for a GMC 302 from the 1950's but there is not alot of info about these engines. Another thought was a Ford 300 because they made millions of them and they are easy to find. I'd just like something a bit exotic and not seen alot. Another idea that is not the norm is a BB V-6 from GM. They made a few different displacement v-6 motors (305, 351, 401...) that were in the 300's. Not a lot of power, but good torque and will run forever.
