You have now decided that you want a Cold Air Intake System for your car. What do you look for as you are evaluating different systems?
First I would decide if you want a full Cold Air Intake System which will generate the most power, but costs a little more and may be harder to install. The other choice is a Short Ram Air Intake. Easier to install, less expensive, but not quite as much power.
Second, decide if you might be going through some amount of water while you are driving. Not a light rain, but large puddles. If you are, then you should consider a system, with an air bypass valve. This is a filtered spacer that is positioned more into the engine compartment. It is fitted between two connected pieces of the cold air intake assembly. This prevents hydro-locking by giving another route for air to enter. This eliminates the vacuum that causes water to be sucked in from a puddle. Short Ram systems do not need an air bypass valve.
Another consideration is the air filter. Factory filters are noted for being restrictive and not necessarily totally efficient in keeping out dirt. The better cold air intake systems have designed filters of various materials that will filter out particles as small as .5 to 1 micron. Some need oil, and others do not.
You should also look for a system with a heat shield. As we know the colder the air entering the system is, the more oxygen it can carry and therefore increase power out of your engine. The closer the filter/air inlet is to your engine the more you would need a heat shield. These shields can also be made from a variety of materials, just like the basic components of the rest of the system.
If you still can't make up your mind, then there is one more consideration you can make. Some brands offer a combined system. You can use it as a Cold Air System, for example in the winter. Then when it warms up a little and there is no danger of water in your filter, you can convert it to a Short Ram system. The best of both worlds.

The engine gives out a throaty note as you floor the gas, thanks to the intake which is a little louder than before. The car is strongly built, well-engineered and exhibits very high levels of refinement.
The gearbox is slick and gears slot-in with precision, keeping the entire gear-shift experience hassle-free and allowing the driver to enjoy every moment spent behind the wheel of this luxury sedan.
In terms of styling, the car is at par with any other car in the same catagoty, proving more or less the same feaatures available in any other car. But, the fact remains that the car is still lagging behind its other variants like Honda city , Honda Civic & Honda Jazz. At the same time, it cannot be said as to when there will be a change in the trend at Accord will take over others in the family.

Cold Air Intake assistance for 2005 Honda accord LX?
My Cold air intake did not come with a mass air flow sensor adapter is it suppose to be like that? Tried installing did not rev past 3000 rpm, What do I do now.
Like I have already advised you to do:
Ditch the intake.
Go back, and return it, and get your money back.
Obviously, you did no research, before buying this thing. An intake will, at BEST, provide around 2-3 horsepower. At worst, you will LOSE horsepower at certain rpm. And contrary to belief, 2-3 horsepower change is not noticeable by a driver. You could get the same gain, by getting a tuneup done.
Get your money back, save your money for something useful.
