Here are some more information for Gal Aluminum Fuel:

The economy is changing, which means technology has to change with it. Fuel saving cars is only one of the many changes that have occurred over the years. With oil at an all time high this is a major concept that has been taken on by car manufacturers around the world. Wars around the globe are dramatically changing the world we live in today and we must adjust to stay above the curve.
No more than twenty years ago fuel saving cars was never even conceived. Gas was less than a dollar a gallon and everybody was able to afford to drive wherever they wanted. I remember when it would take no more than a twenty-dollar bill to fill your entire tank. Today twenty dollars may get you maybe five gallons of gas. This has really taken the aim off big engines and sporty fast cars and placed it on fuel efficiency and environment friendly cars.
With wars still raging over oil fuel saving cars are becoming globally popular and becoming a cash crop for most vehicle manufactures. Some vehicles are not even using conventional gasoline anymore. We have diesel trucks switching to bio-diesel, which can be made of used vegetable oil put out by fast food restaurants. Gasoline is even being diluted with ethanol, which is a corn-based gasoline. The race to build these cars is on and who ever can design the best will eventually win this on going battle.
Something needs to be done with these soaring gas prices and since the wars do not seem to be ending fuel saving cars seem to be the only solution. With the war on oil causing it to soar over one hundred dollars a barrel there is no doubt the demand is great. Without these valuable fuel-efficient cars people soon will not even be able to afford to drive to work. This gas crisis is having a toll on the United States economy and the world as a whole.
These fuel saving cars are even more important in the rural communities. Most rural communities do not have subways or buses for people to commute. These people living in rural communities have to drive at least twenty miles to work one way. When people are spending fifty to a hundred dollars for a tank of gas that may not last them through the week it leaves them with less to stimulate the economy with. Something desperately needs to be done quickly and fuel-efficient cars is the way to go. We also need to start thinking about alternate fuel sources all together to help ease the pressure off the car manufacturers.
We have come a long way in just a short period of time. We have endured so much and thanks to the advances in modern mechanics and technologies we may be able to sway the gas crises. We need to keep striving towards the future and continue conjuring up different methods to solve our problems other than war with oil rich countries.

Approx Boat/Yacht Performance?
I know nothing about boats but have always been curious about how far large "luxury yachts" go.
this is just a random yacht I saw online (http://www.showmanagement.com/palm_beach_international_boat_show/event/boat_listing/6562?from_search=yes)
Builder: Feadship
Year: 2000, Refit 2008
Length: 165 feet
Beam: 32'
Accomodates: 12
Construction: Aluminum
Classification: Lloyds
Engines: 2x CAT 3512B
Fuel: 20087 gals
Water: 6604 gals
Max. Speed: 16.5 knots
Cruising Speed: 15 knots
Draft: 8'5"
In ideal cruising weather about how far do you think a boat this size could travel?
also how fast is a knot?
It's not the optimal size to go "asfar as possible" ...even on lowest power you'll need very muchto push it.
But that's not the idea behind a boat like this...you just go the fuel barge and say "fill it up" (20.000gallons)
My boat has 2 6 Cyl Diesels and on lowest power, with one engine going, it consumes 16 litres an hour, Tanks empty in about 50 hours.
Sailing is the way to go far on low cost.
