If you are thinking about trying out the Water4Gas system or one of the others like it you may want to consider getting an already assembled Water4Gas kit. After trying out these HHO systems I can tell you that those Water4Gas kits are not as easy to build as they make it sound.
The hardest part is making that plexiglass part in the middle that you are supposed to wrap your wires around. The plexiglass needs to be pretty thick and is difficult to cut. You can use a scroll saw but a table saw with the blade backwards seems to work the best.
Even if you have a table saw it is still a messy project to cut it up and your cuts for where it gets notched in the middle have to be just right. If you get too wide on these cuts then the tower won't stay together unless you use a lot of glue.
The lids are also a pain in the rear to make. Actually this part is easy. You just drill holes and then glue stuff to the lid. The problem is that the lids they call out for are pretty easy to crack. It is not that making the lids is difficult really. It is just the aggravation of scrapping 3 or 4 lids before you manage to drill one without cracking it.
Also rounding up all of the parts can be a pain. I had to go to pet stores, hardware stores, parts stores, and Walmart. After all of those stores I still ended up ordering a couple of the things I needed on the internet.

Rebuild kit, fuel pump?
I just got a fuel pump rebuild kit for my 45 HP Mariner, should I use any type of gasket sealant on it or just gaskets bare against the metal? The body of the pump is smooth, no corrosion or pits.

DO NOT use any type of sealant due to the fact it will break down and clog your new pump .......... just be sure to tighten the screws evenly so it will be flush to the surface...

I'm thinking about a Starion myself. I just sold my Mk1 MR2 and looking for something fun to replace it with. I too love the boxy futuristic styling of the MR2 Mk1 and will have another one at some point, that one was just too rusty and needed too much.
