Here are some more information for End Rubber Seal:

Fixing a leaking showerhead will not only remove an annoying noise but also save you money on your water bill as those small drops will add up fast to a lot of expensive gallons!
You will need an adjustable wrench, a small towel, a screw driver, teflon tape(white plumbers tape from any hardware store).
If you have a wall mounted showerhead, the showerhead will be connected directly to the shower arm. If you have a hand held shower, a holder will be screwed into the shower arm and the handheld will be connected via a flexible hose to the holder.
Look at the showerhead while the water is on and determine where the leak is coming from. Be sure to set the water to a suitable temperature and flow rate to avoid accidents or scalding.
If from between the showerhead or hand shower holder and the shower arm(Metal pipe sticking out of the wall): Remove the showerhead or holder. If there is a lot of lime scale build on the screw threads, clean your showerhead/holder and the end of the shower arm with scotch brite. Inspect the threads on both the pipe and the showerhead to see if they are worn out (if plastic check for cracks). If the threads on the showerhead are heavily worn out replace the entire unit, If the threads on the shower arm are heavily worn, replace it if you can or call a plumber. In most cases just a good cleaning should do the trick. Look to see if there is a rubber washer (a small rubber disk with a hole in the center). Pull it out and inspect it to see if it is damaged. If so take it to a hardware store and use it to look for a similar replacement. Install the good washer and install the showerhead. Apply plumbers tape to the shower arm and replace the showerhead.
For handheld showerheads: If the leak is form either end of the flexible tube: Use an adjustable wrench to unscrew the nuts at the end of the flexible tube. As above inspect the threads and the rubber washer, clean and replace as necessary.
If the leak is from the showerhead itself: It means that a part inside the showerhead is defective. You can try and disassemble the unit and inspect the parts. Look for:
» Lime scale build up - clean by soaking in vinegar and re-assemble.
» Defective rubber seals - take any rubber seals to a hardware store to find a replacement.
» Rubber parts not assembled properly.
» Cracked plastic parts - replace the unit.
» The seal at the bottom of the swill ball may be rolled, just remove it and re-install.
As you take apart the unit, the best thing to do is to make notes or drawings of how the parts were assembled and hence how it goes back together. Note that most newer showerheads are designed not to be disassembled. This is because improper re-assembly could lead to an accident while in use. I recommend you replace your showerhead if the leak is from within the unit, and you are not sure of how well you can re-assemble the unit. Life is to short for mediocre showers and the showerhead failing while in use by family is dangerous.

Gold Coast Awnings - Canvas, Roller, Fixed Aluminium, Cafe and Folding Arm
Awnings help create shady areas in and around your home. Aluminium awnings outside windows can cut the harsh afternoon sun in summer whilst folding arm awnings can be opened to cover an outdoor area when you need shade. During the cooler winter months, you can leave the area open to the warm sun.
Fabric awnings add beauty and charm to the exterior of your home. They allow people to enjoy outdoor activities, avoid excessive heat, sun exposure, and mild rains by controlling the shading and light exposure on your deck, window, patio, terrace, or balcony. The use of shading will also help protect your carpet, furniture, and drapes by blocking UV rays.
Because we measure, design and manufacture a range of awnings, we can meet your personal and commercial awning requirements. Whether it is just one awning or supply for a new development, call us today!

The Waterproof System
Rubber seals are made from high quality EPDM. Our Standard colour is Black. The rubber seal is used for both the H Section and the end U Capping. This requires a little moisture to allow the rubber to slip on to there sheet more freely.
The aluminum section or "H Bar" measures 50mm wide and 16mm high. All Screws are placed into the specially designed single groves on top of the section. It is specially designed with single grooves on the top of the section. All screws are placed into the groove. When penetrated the screws will not touch the sheet yet still allows a gap large enough so the sheet can expand and contract through the section. This is known as the rabbet depth. To allow the bar to be bent & curved it is made from a soft alloy.
The sheets are open fluted and therefore need to be covered for this we use two types of tape. On the gravity end (i.e. the end of which the water runs to). We only use a butyl tape (Tar Tape) that has a protective silver tape on top of the sticky tar to prevent it from sticking to each other. While at the other end to prevent dust penetrating we use an aluminum silver tape. The U Channel simply caps off the end of the open sheet and then it is pop riveted onto the H Bar.
All aluminum extrusions are available in Pearl White, Bronze, Primrose and Satin Black. Special colours are available on request. Carbolite comes in 8mm and 10mm thicknesses
Benefits
Solar Control: The Common complaint with awnings is the heat buildup. When Enclosing with a roof the heat is then radiated threw the awning thus warming the air below. This hot air needs to rise but is now obstructed by a roof, making the air under the roof seem hotter than outside. With our solar controll sheets available in Solar Ice & Solar Metal we have managed to avoid this by reflecting a much larger percentage of heat over the entire spectrum.
UV Protection: In recent years Solar ultravoilet light other wise known as UV Radiation has become a major health concern with skin cancer and even premature aging just some of the affects associated with UV Radiation. Our Carb-O-Lite sheets will block out UV radiation & UV-A Radiation.

What would be a good covering for the sharp glue used to seal ealastic ribbon etc on clothes?
I bought a corset which has loops for garter straps at the bottom, but the ends of the elastic loops are glued together and the type of glue is very very sharp. My friend had he same problem with a corset she bought and she ended up getting cuts from the glue type material. I'm thinking maybe rubber cement or finding a liquid rubber that drys to put over the sharp parts but I'm not sure where to get that. If anyone knows or has a better suggestion, that would be great.
A spot of glue from a hot glue gun
File them down with an emery board or nail file/buffer
Have a piece of cloth like moleskin sewn or fabric glued over the sharp spots.
Cut the straps and sew them where they were glued before.
Put a Band-aid or some clear medical tape over the sharp or on you skin where it might cut you.
If you need more let me know.
