Your Wireless Devices Are Now OBD-II Tools Finally, an automotive scan device that truly allows you to take advantage of popular consumer wireless technology. The OT-2 is an OBD-II Wi-Fi/USB Interface for Smartphones and handheld devices with access to the LogWorks Mobile app, as well as PCs. Connecting to your vehicle's onboard computer network via its OBD-II (On Board Diagnostic) port, located under the dashboard and standard on virtually every car and light truck manufactured in the US since 1996, the OT-2's built-in 16-pin OBD-II connector is capable of reading up to 16 channels of diagnostic information generated by your vehicles onboard computer network and integrate it into an Innovate Modular Tuning System (MTS) "Log Chain." The OT-2 then makes this information available to you via your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or PC as a hotspot (also via USB connection in the case of the PC). The free LogWorks software channels this information into several different diagnostic datapoints. These include a dyno digital dashboard, a programmable system of performance oriented gauges; a fuel efficiency meter, allowing you to track your driving habits and see them in real-time; a data logger which allows you to track, record and even e-mail yourself different pieces of data for viewing offline; and an OBD-II scan tool which gives you the ability to read and erase diagnostic trouble codes and their definitions. Additional features include compatibility with all Innovate Motorsports MTS (Modular Tuning System) devices, the ability to update the OT-2's firmware via a USB connection to the Internet and access to select LogWorks Mobile software functionality without an OT-2 connection. What is OBD-II Beginning in the 1980s new cars and trucks began to be wired with a variety of computerized diagnostic systems designed to improve efficiencies, simplify troubleshooting and minimize the need for repairs. These systems produce indicators known as diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) internally, usually indicating something out of the ordinary by illuminating the "check engine"/malfunction indicator light (MIL) on the dashboard of your car. In the 1990s these systems, codes and the hardware connectors used to access them were standardized in North America as OBD (Onboard Diagnostics) and later OBD-II. Automotive technicians have long utilized specialized high-end machinery to read these codes, passing the costs on to consumers, but now you can get access to the same diagnostic codes and additional information quickly and inexpensively right on your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and PC with Innovate Motorsports' OT-2. Key Features OBD-II interface compatible with any late model car; vehicle bus protocols including ISO 15765 (CAN), J1850 (Ford, GM), ISO 9141, and ISO 14230 (kwp2000) Wi-Fi communication from OT-2 Interface to Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad Compatible with all Innovate Motorsports' MTS (Modular Tuning System) devices, including LC-1 "Lambda Cable" Air/Fuel Ratio sensor controller, LM-2 Air/Fuel Ratio meter with analog inputs, TC-4 4-channel thermocouple interface, and more LogWorks Mobile software (a free application available on the Apple App Store) featuring the following functionality: 0-60 acceleration times** Fixed gear and distance run horsepower calculation** Acceleration Gs Timer (1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, and more)** Fill-up log with gallons per mile, cost per mile, and cost per gallon calculations Real-time fuel economy meter with trip and day averages** Advanced diagnostics Record and analyze critical vehicle parameters* Display and log other Innovate Motorsports MTS compatible products* Read and Clear DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)* OBD-II smog readiness status* Record up to 32 OBD-II and Innovate Motorsports MTS channels* OT-2 functionality also available for PCs via wireless connections and/or included USB cable What's in the Box 1-Innovate Motorsports OT-2 unit, 1-CD software (for PC use), 1-USB cable, 1-users manual. Dyno-Boost Adjustable Fuel Controller Performance Chip Honda Fury Sale Price: $169.98 |
|
MAGNUMTUNING FACTORY Dyno-Boost is a fully adjustable, MOTORCYCLE SPECIFIC fuel controller designed for all fuel injected bikes controlled by ECU, simply wires inline with the IAT (Intake Air Temperature) or MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor & plugs into the Oxygen sensor (if any). Dyno-BOOST tricks the ECU thinking the intake air much more cooler, then the ECU will send more fuel for a richer mix besides on O2 sensor models the unique oxygen sensor overriding circuit incorporated blocks restrictions effected by the ECU. It allows you to fully adjust the Air Fuel Ratio (AFR). Peppy acceleration, 15% extra horsepower & torque, lower quarter mile times & fine throttle response. Even people who are not technical minded will find, kit is not difficult to install just needs 20 minutes. It will not affect engine reliability & endurance. Remap factory engine or calibrate engine management to any performance exhaust, intake, etc. preinstalled. DYNO-BOOST increases HP by adjusting AFR between 12.7 & 14.7. Set advanced fuel trim, dialing a multi-turn screw. Adjustment needs no expertise. Injection is controlled in multiple ways. Chip modifies signals being read by the ECU, resulting adjustment to the AFR then again it monitors & overrides the O2 sensor (if any) signal accordingly the chip does not allow ECU to restrict the air/fuel ratio just has been fooled. Though performance chips are not especially for economy improvement & basically subjected to gain more HP, when modifying air fuel ratio, slightly at the expense of emission & noise level, efficiency of combustion is improved & you SAVE FUEL by up to 6%. Magnum TuningTM has been dealing with manufacture of upgrades since 1994. Magnum's experience warrants peak performance, reliability & perfect style. Magnum Parts are made in Europe & covered by 10-YEAR WARRANTY. |

MAGNUMTUNING FACTORY Dyno-Boost is a fully adjustable, ATV SPECIFIC fuel controller designed for all fuel injected quads controlled by ECU, simply wires inline with the IAT (Intake Air Temperature) also referred to as MAF (Mass Air Flow), MAP sensor and plugs into the O2 sensor harness on rare models having it. Dyno-BOOST tricks the ECU thinking the intake air much more cooler, then the ECU will send more fuel for a richer mix. Though performance chips are not especially for economy improvement & basically subjected to gain more HP, when modifying air fuel ratio, slightly at the expense of emission & noise level, efficiency of combustion is improved & you SAVE FUEL by up to 6%. This popular chip can even quickly be switched, removed or re-installed at any time. The operation of injection system is significantly determined on the signals of different sensors as IAT, ECT, MAP & Oxygen sensor therefore if we trick their signals we may regulate effectively engine output. Magnum TuningTM has been dealing with manufacture of upgrades since 1994. Magnum's experience warrants peak performance, reliability & perfect style. Tips on choosing appropriate dynamometers
In order to set up a drag car or bike for peak performance, using loads of boost / nitrous or other modifications, the best thing to have is a suitable inertial chassis dynamometer. It needs to have big diameter clean drums, with a very good grip. Dual rollers are not appropriate in this case, so don't use them!
The dynamometer should have powerful fans and airflow and an experienced operator.
A braked system is simply unsuitable for an application like this. The dyno itself, along with plug readings, and experience would be the best way to set the car / bike up. Gas analyzers are useless in these situations.
If your aim is to set up a stock or mildly tuned cars / bikes fuel injection system, or set up a carburetor systems jetting or ignition properly, you should find a decent braked system, maybe with twin rollers and with a good gas analyzer.
This is the best way to set up this kind of vehicles.
You should use this kind of dyno tools if you are working on stock or mildly tuned car for fault finding, or for a health check.
To obtain the accurate power curve picture of a vehicle, you should put on an inertial dynamometer.
In order to buy one for yourself, you should consider the above, decide what kind of work you mainly want your dyno for, and choose accordingly.
An important thing to remember is that inertial dynos may be cheaper, but they are more difficult to control (you cannot hold RPM steady on an inertial dynamometer).
However, no matter what type of dynamometer you select, controlling the test conditions is vital to getting usable data. It's not enough for the dynamometer equipment itself to be accurate; you have to know that the engine's output is not being skewed by improper dynamometer procedures.
In order to prepare your car or bike for a dynamometer testing session, you should consider some of the following:
You should check oil level, being careful not to overfill. If necessary, perform oil and filter change first.
Make sure the air filter is clean.
Check coolant level.
Check for coolant leaks visually
Check tires for correct pressures and healthy condition, especially if it's a seriously powerful vehicle, as grip may be a problem.
Add enough fuel.
If you use nitrous, water injection, make sure these are all topped up!
Make sure it has correctly gapped healthy plugs.
That's basically all you need to do. Dynamometer testing is no worse for your car than a bit of fast motorway driving, and in some cases even safer for your engine!

did they kill the evo??? and who votes they bring back the older evo platform??
the new evo has been bastardized in my eyes... sacrificing power, handling and over all grit for comfort... who agrees, and who else believes as strongly as I do that they should go back to the platform of performance before comfort much like the evo 7 and evo 8??
a REAL evo
06 Evo 8 MR @ 27psi, HKS Exhaust 280 Race Camshaft, Turbo XS UTEC, GReddy Type RS Blow Off Valve, Hallman Evolution RX Boost Controller,Hotchkis Stage 1 TVS System, HKS Max Twin Plate Clutch Kit,cylinder sleeving and tuning by SJRR… dyno @ 458 AW hp (street driven)
First off the evo ix has been out for quite a while, duh. In fact it is pretty much done being produced since the evo x will be here shortly.
well you know the question i posted and you know my answer. They have stripped it off its balls. My favorites are the six, seven. I would love to have the seventh. The ninth is pretty high in power. I would either take a evo vii gsr or a evo 9 rs. I don't want upscale and a more european feel. It is not meant to compete against luxury import sports car. It is supposed to be one of the few raw sports cars that you can buy and still have room for the kids when you need it. Over 15 years of rally heritage have gone down the drain in my eyes. It will still be very powerful, probably 300hp, and the good thing is it will have AYC which we have been deprived of. But they will have a auto stick with optional 5sp. It is bigger fatter, and the styling looks to audi in the front. They might as well put a autopilot in and strip all fun. It has not lived up to my expectations.
PS i wish i had your car, next car i will probably get an evo, but it won't be new though, that makes me sad. I'll never get the new car smell driving my evo, because i will not buy a X.
