The Wall Township Speedway has been providing New Jersey race fans with quality racing since 1950. Today the Speedway is busier than ever and the roar of engines can be heard every Saturday night from April through November. The track is nestled in among the hot tourist spots of the Atlantic Ocean, the New Jersey Shore, the beautiful boardwalks and amusement parks. The Speedway is considered one of the most successful short tracks in the country.
The racing schedule is packed full the entire season and includes; Modifieds, Street Stocks, Sportsman, RMP MAD, Legends & Value Towing Factory Stocks, NASCAR Whelen Series, Modified Tour, Ford Focus Midgets and much more. Special events such as the Formula Drift, USC Night, Garden State Classic and the Larsen Brothers Memorial race are held during each season. The track holds several community fundraisers and offers several Turkey Derbies in November. Tickets to regular Saturday races are $15.00 for adults with military, senior and children discounts.
Englishtown is home to the Old Bridge Township Raceway Park and home to adventure. The Raceway seems to offer something for every race fan. There are two drag strips; the 1/4 mile and a 1/8 mile. The eighth mile houses weekly competition of NHRA Junior Drag Racing League and children's racing program created in 1992. The 1/4 mile drag strip has a full schedule with Street Night, Pro Dial Dash, Honda Day, Top Street, High School, SCCA Autocross, Mean Street PTS, Top Street Bike, Pro ET, Motorcycle, Snowmobile, Trophy Stock and much more.
The Raceway is also home to a new Motocross practice track that allows riders to improve their skills away from the competition tracks and give novice riders a safe and legal place to learn. Riders may choose from motorcycle, quad and children's courses. There are also several Motocross events held at the Raceway each season. If Drag and Motocross racing aren't enough, the Raceway added a Kart course to the track. Many of the best drivers in the world got their start racing Karts. Many race Karts in the off- season to keep their reflexes quick and senses tuned.
The goal of the Raceway is to give families a first-class course and amenities that will make it a family favorite. The Kart season is packed with events from March through November. These are the current class divisions: Junior and Senior Sportsman, Tag Lite and Heavy, Formula 125 and Tag Masters. Other divisions, such as Novice, Pee-Wee, can be formed as interest develops.

Travers Tool is a manufacturer and distributer of metalworking tools and industrial supplies. The company is based in Flushing, New York, and has distribution branches in or near New York, Los Angeles, and Duncan.

History
Travers Tool Co., Inc. was started in 1924 by David Trevas. An aspiring young entrepreneur, David borrowed $1000 and asked a New York tool distributor to let him place a telephone on one of the empty desks at the office. After gaining some measure of success, David opened his first metalworking tool distribution office at 5 Court Square in Long Island City, New York. Because many of his customers did not pronounce his last name correctly, David Trevas named his company Travers Tool Co., Inc.
Seymour Trevas started working for his father in the 1930s. In the 1940s, Travers Tool was honored by receiving the coveted Navy E Award (for excellence) as a navy subcontractor. In the 1950s, Travers Tool relocated to 10-23 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City. In 1967, under the leadership of Barry Zolot, Seymour's son-in-law, the first Travers Tool mail order Master Catalog was created. This move served as a catalyst for signicant growth for the company. In 1974, Travers Tool purchased and moved into a 25,000-square-foot (2,300m2), 2-story facility at 25-26 50th Street in Woodside, New York.
As business grew throughout the 1980s, Travers Tool moved into a larger facility at 128-15 26th Avenue, Flushing, New York and built a 75,000-square-foot (7,000m2) warehouse in Duncan, South Carolina.

In 1994, Travers Tool Company went into sponsoring race cars, first, in the NHRA, when they sponsored Blaine Johnson for his entire career, which lasted from the 1994 Winter Nationals, to the 1996 U.S. Nationals, where Johnson was killed during qualifying, Travers Tool Company has not sponsored a driver since.

Hi i was planning on cheking out some drag race this summer.
The problem i that im not rally familiar with all the different categories in the NHRA and since i live here , theres no TOP FUEL races down here , wich is what i wanna se the most.
So i know there is the NHRA northeast national open
and the NHRA national dragster challenge happening in my province this summer in Napierre ville near the U.S border . So i wanted to know wich one is going to be the most exciting to go see and if there is any top fuel in one of theses 2 events or what will come the closest to it in term of speed , power , sound cuz i see i the dragster challenge theres is gonna be nitro-methane ones are theses top fuel ?
So thanks for your recomendations .....until i go south to see the real stuff!

but the cars i found most entertaining were the funny cars some racers r cruise pedragon tony pedragon ashly force ( john forces daughter)
but the other races i found interesting were the motor bikes
