What is my old Margay racing go kart worth?
I have an older Margay racing go kart I want to sell so I can upgrade to a Tony Kart. It's a older Margay from the late 70's early 80's and its in pretty good shape. It has a Horseman wet clutch and Yamaha KT100 engine that runs pretty good. Kart has new rims, tires, gas tank, brake master cylinder, and steering wheel.
I have the original wheels if that changes anything.
I was wondering what I could sell this kart for as a collector kart, or racing kart.

Not much, if you have a vintage club in your area those are the guys that will be interested in it, hey I got $400 for my 74 Emmick with a KT on it, actually depending on what rims and condition they could be worth some money on ebay, the old 5 spoke Margays seem to be a hot item with the collectors these days. but on the other end I only payed $300 for my 2000 Energy with a KT on it, Granted it was rough from being left outside but the Performance Engine Yellow fin is still worth $300 bucks, that's on the shelf and the chassis still does very well in the clone class, so if you take into consideration I have a competitive clone for around $600 not counting what I can sell the engine for that's a pretty good deal. unfortunately something as old as yours wont be competitive in any class except vintage.
