Here are some more information for Coilover Shocks Street:

Videos abound the internet of young people (mostly young men) completely destroying their truck by taking it out to the woods and mudding around. These epic failures, though funny to watch on YouTube, are avoidable if the truck is properly modified to handle the extreme physics of mudding.
For everyone that is smart enough not to do serious off-roading in a stock truck there are several levels of off-road upgrading that one can do. The most basic of the upgrades is to apply a leveling kit to the truck which evens out the front and rear of the frame and body and gives it a slight lift. Doing this allows you to put slightly larger tires on that are significantly more aggressive. The next level of upgrades allows one to do quite a bit more than just romp around in a field. Lifting the truck about 3 inches, putting 35" or larger tires, adding duel exhaust and some decent aftermarket shocks will do the trick. A simple 3 inch lift can be as cheap as $300 but a nice set of tires may get as expensive as $2,000. All in all these upgrades should only cost a maximum of $4,000 unless something more serious is desired.
In this instance there are even more upgrades that can be applied to an off-road truck. Lifting the truck even more and adding even larger tires can significantly advance the off-road capability of the truck. With these larger tires there is a need for more power so adding long tube off-road headers and straight pipe exhaust may be necessary. Adding a performance tuning chip and larger gears in the rear end will assist with the larger tires as well. With the extra lift the need for larger gas shocks is necessary as well as stabilizer bars to keep the truck from rolling over or handling poorly. All of these upgrades may cost as much as $10,000. This is a relatively small price to pay to be able to go just about anywhere without damaging the truck.
Now the ultimate off-roading mud bogger may want the biggest and baddest truck around. As long as the bottom of the front bumper is no more than 50" from the pavement the truck remains street legal in most states. Finding 50" and larger tires may be difficult to find but they are available. Super Swamper Mud Boggers are probably the most common and effective type of tire for the most serious mudder. When lifting a truck to such a height the entire suspension and running gear will need to be completely revamped. Coil over shocks or even air bags can be very effective; high compression struts, spindles and larger sway bars are also necessary. There is always a need to have a steering correction done when lifting any truck; the steep angle can destroy a rack and pinion. A military front and rear axle is the best to put on a truck of this size, the 2.5 ton axles can handle just about anything. That being said the transmission should be reinforced as well; putting a low range shift kit is smart for an automatic.
Some other useful accessories for off-roading are a snorkel to keep water out of the engine, a winch for when you're stuck and alone, heavy duty tow hooks for when you're stuck and not alone and possibly some brush guards or heavy duty bumpers to protect the body of the truck. All in all this type of off road machine is for the bottomless pockets type of person. Besides the cost of purchasing a new 4x4 truck, to completely outfit it for mudding one can expect to spend and additional $50,000. Then again putting a true Monster Truck to shame would be well worth it.
Hopefully this serves as a helpful guide for the uninitiated mud bogger. From wild to mild, get your project started with a used Ford Houston or a new F150 Gainesville. These trucks can take the abuse no matter what kind of mud is nearby.
Skunk2 Coilovers - to Modify Car Handling
Skunk2, which is famed for manufacturing quality coilovers, has earlier launched a reliable kit to complement its product. It can be reckoned that the company has established its name by giving reliable remedy to those drivers who find it hard to maneuver their vehicles. Skunk2 coilovers are made to cater both street driving and track racing vehicles. Moreover, recently the company has introduced its adjustable cover kit to serve as an easy and accessible solution to transform the performance of vehicles.
Said kit includes mounting hardware, hard-anodized CNC-machined threaded aluminum sleeves and CNC-wound SAE 9254 springs for racing. It is based on dual-locking perch design which is guaranteed by experts to be the most unfailing method in securing the spring perches.
Coilover is a car suspension tool that is made of a shock absorber with a coil spring surrounding the former. It should not be mistaken with struts and separately mounted shock absorbers. The coilover is preassembled hence when the shock absorber leaks or become useless, said auto part will be replaced as a unit. Authorities in the field of automotive parts are saying that the measure of quality coilovers is optimum compatibility and proficiency to vehicles. Further, experts also noted the fact that an ideal coilover must render superb damping with no torsional loads. Another, its performance must boost the quality of a ride and will not compromise it. Thus, it must be based on superior spring design technology to effectuate a more exciting and hassle-free performance. Several coilovers in the market are made adjustable just like that of Skunk2. This is done to consider compatibility of its hardness and height as well as the usage of threaded spring perch.
According to Skunk2, its coilover kit is created using the right suspension geometry. Its caster, camber and toe can be adjusted efficiently. Further, said kit is intended for both racer and professional use.

What are the correct spring rates for a street driven 1995 cobra w/ front-rear coilovers?
I am looking for the correct coilover spring rates that will be going on a 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra that is 90% street driven and 10% open track driven? The car will be equipped with Maximum Motorsports front/rear coilovers kits, MM sport valved bilstein shocks and struts. It also has these other suspension pieces already installed (panhard rod, torque arm, subframes, MM adjustable LCA's, strut tower brace, MM camber plates, 17x9 / 17x10.5 " wheels with 275/40 fronts and 315/35 rear tires).
if the shop that sold all that other suspension stuff has no clue a quick chat with afco should do the trick but I don't think there are allot of rate choices as most spring manufacturers offer a best fit product as driving style will effect the rate you need.
