Embarrassing question, but how do I clean...?
My partner dropped a bottled of personal lube on the carpet and the bottle busted. Now we have a huge slick spot that we can't clean. We've tried water (but it is a water based lube), blotting with paper towels, soap, vacuuming and even put kitty litter on it to soak it up and covered that with a plastic floor mat. That was over a week ago and the spot is still slick. How do I clean this or is the carpet permanently ruined?
Try with some oxyclean or a strange as this sounds, I find adding a little Cascade Dish soap removes the silicone stain from fabric.
