1998 chevy blazer 4wd?
right below the oil pan. there is a rod in the center that connects the right tie rod end to the left tie rod end and has a grease fitting at the top on both ends.what is the name of that part. and does it suppose to have a rubber boot on both ends where the grease fittings are. please help me name that part.
That is the CENTERLINK. It should have boots on both ends between it and the tie rods...the grease fitting is on the bottom.
There is also another connection on the centerlink to the PITMAN ARM which is on the drivers side of the centerlink. It also should have a dust boot with a grease fitting on the bottom.
