Here are some more information for Championship Hot Rod:

The surprise of the year Tampa Bay Rays have dropped the devil and are on their way to the promised land. They will play the Boston Red Sox Friday in their first ever Championship Series game. These two teams loath each other, and with a long history of brawls and bad blood how long will it take for things to get hot
Red Sox
Key Players: Dustin Pedroia/ Jon Lester
Pedroia, who many have considered for the MVP, only had ONE hit for the entire ALDS. During the regular season he hit .326, if he gets started the young arms for the Rays are going to have even more trouble. Lester has just been lights out, and seems to be having the type of coming out party that Josh Beckett did with Florida in 2003. 22.2 scoreless innings for his last postseason starts, unreal.
Tampa Bay Rays
Key Players: B.J. Upton/ Grant Balfour
Balfour has been totally lights out this postseason and helped move the Rays from last in the major leagues for relief all the way to fifth. He pitches with a fire and intensity that match his 96 mile per hour heater. If he can be lock down at the end of the game , the Rays may need only one run to secure the series. Upton mashed against the White Sox but hit a wimpy .128 against the Sox during the regular season. If he continues to stroke like this, watch out World Series.
X-Factor: Boston's playoff swagger
Ever since they broke the curse in 2004, this team has taken on a completely different identity. They become a completely different beast when it boils down to you and them. Lester, Papi's clutch hitting, Schilling's sock, Varitek fighting A-Rod and Francona's excellent managing. Even without Manny they seem to overwhelm the Rays. Can youth overcome wisdom and experience??
X-Factor:Tampa Manager Joe Maddon
The man with the cool shades and even more ice-cold demeanor stands at the the top of the pedestal of the Ray's success. He has taken a team with no expectations, lots of young talent and no history of winning and made the greatest wins vs losses turn around in MLB history. He shaves his hair to a mohawk, always seems patient and willing to teach his kids from mistakes, not berate and take them down. He acts as if he has been here before and his team follows suit. Maddon is already a shoe-in for manager of the year, but if he pulls this win off it will played for generations and talked about as one of the most magnificent, unexpected surprises in Major League history.
Prediction
Boston in 7 games, 4-3. The Rays have been doubted but are now being followed closely as everyone's favorite underdog, a la Arizona in 2001 except younger. I think the Ray's are one year away and Boston's experience holds their trip to the World Series off a little longer.
Think you know who the winner of this years ALCS will be? Did you call the Dodgers upset of the Cubs in the first round? Did you see the Rays taking it all the way to the ALCS this year? Come Here and Prove It!

Top ten yankee excuses?
1) we won alot of championships.
2) The Oriels did so why not us.
3) We ran out of steroids.
4) Gary Sheffield has distracted us from buying more players.
5) Mike Mussina did it.
6) A-rods not playing so hot lets blame him.
7) faulty sprinkler system.
Gary Sheffield went on the DL so we couldn't bring down their pride by booing them.
9) Uh... Global Warming.
10) our star pitcher got caught with a dogfighting ring.
Dumb excuses. Should be:
1} Arod cheating on wife with stripper again.
2}Are starting pitching sucks
3} We like to sign our starters for the 2nd half only.
4} How many rings does your team have.
5} Arod and Jeter were still showering {together} so we couldn't put them in the lineup.
6} The Red Sox are just getting lucky.
7} Steinbrenner's expectations are too high.
8} So what if we haven't won a World Series in a long, Look at how many we did win.
9} If we make it to the playoffs Mussina will start game 1.
10} Balco went out of business , We need more steroids.
The only positive thing is they have a good manager and young pitchers.
YANKEES SUCK, and Yankee fans are all A**holes.
