My rear tires rubs the body of my car. How can I raise it up to prevent the rubbing?
I bought a rim that is 3" bigger that the factory and now when I carry passengers or small load in the car, my tires rubs. Do I need lowering spring ( I do not want to lower the car for sure), coilover, or shock. Please tell me why you chose your choice. I do not want the factory parts but I don't mind if that is the only choice I have. I would appreciate it if you can help.
That's not the only problem you have or will have.. By increasing the size of your rims and tires you also increased the speed of your vehicle. What I mean by that is that your transmission will be running as normal and your speedometer will read normal but you will be going much faster. You ever know someone who got a speeding ticket and they insisted that they were doing the speed limit? If so; than ask them if they had put on larger tires.. Now for your question: Yes you can but it will require wielding additional supports on the axel and modifying the mounting bracket at the top of the wheel well. Take it to a body shop and let them modify the vehicle legally as well as readjust the speedometer at the same time..
Body found in burning car in Langford gravel turnaround
Victoria, B.C. - West Shore RCMP are investigating after a body was found early today in a burned-out vehicle in the 2300-block of Bellamy Road. Langford firefighters found the body after they responded to a 911 call at 12:25 a.m. about a car on fire.
