I've come up with a really good outfit for men.
Head wear:- Flat Yorkshire cap in red with yellow chequered pattern.
Neck wear:- Dr. Who style scarf, grass green with light blue tassells.
Shirt:- Cut-away collar, purple, tailed-shirt with orange buttons.
Jacket:- Double-breasted, navy blue in velvet with silver buttons.
Trousers:- Plus fours, in Harris tweed, loose wasted and worn over blazer, suspended from the shoulders with elasticated braces (suspenders) in red and displayed over blazer.
Footwear:- Mauve sock with large white diamond pattern. Shoes, winkle-pickers in yellow, steel-studded soles and highish heel.
Hands:- For that cold day, purple leather gauntlet style up-to-the-elbow gloves
I think such an outfit would be great for the smart city gent about town.
Do you think I've got really great taste for men's clothing? I can't make up my mind if a white bowler would be better than the cap. Anyway, I think a monocle would add to the overall look.

Sounds very 1950's. Men's fashion are harder to design than women's. They don't want to look stupid or try out over the top looks like girls.
