Since my car broke down and my husband drives a truck, we ended up borrowing one of my oldest son’s three cars.
Ever since then, things have been full of surprise. The car is a 1998 Nissan 200SX, it is white but it have black tinted window, red light underneath of the car that glow onto the street, the tail light are shaped oddly, the tire are very different, inside of the car have lot of gauges, compass, odd seat with harness belts, and other things.
We recently found out there’s a polices radar that look so much like a second radio in the car and there’s a television that pop out of dashboard as well.
For some reason, often if we’re driving on empty road or highway, there would be some car that come up to us from behind and flash lights at us before rushing away at top speed.
Also my husband touched one button that make car go much faster than normal car would have.
I’m starting to suspect something is going on with the car.
No, he isn't racing. The tinted window is to block out sun during the daylight hours. The red light underneath the car is to increase visiblility of the car during the night so others won't hit him. The tailights are a courtesy to other driver cause they are more eye pleasing and noticable than stock. The guages help him project a problem before it arises (good maintanence!!). The odd seat and harness's are simply safer.
The radar is so he can see how fast others are going and report offenders to law enforcement, thus creating a safer community. The television is probably just for when you (his parents) drive him crazy, and he wants to watch his favorite pg televison program in peace. (its a adolecents thing!) The button that makes the car go faster is a joke button. It only makes the speedometer raise up so you can tell the passenger that you are going faster than you really are. Then you just say "ha ha. I wasn't really going that fast"!!!
As for the empty road and light flashing thing, I have heard of this. This is when gang members go out and flash their lights at cars. If the car flashes back they chase the car and shoot the driver for gang initiation. Do you live in an area with a lot of gangs? Just never flash your lights at them. I read about this in an email.
I wouldn't worry about him racing. Just enjoy the ride in the car. It sounds really nice.
Oh, and by the way. Raise up the amount of life insurance you have taken out on him!!
