Here are some more information for Arm Urethane Bushing:

These days we really have to make sure that we are not throwing good money after bad. Your car needs good snug bushings for a safe, comfortable ride, but when they are worn, what do you really need to replace, and how much should it cost you?
I get regular emails from people who have been told by their dealer that it is not possible to replace just the bushings. They are told firstly, that the whole arm, including the bushings, has to be replaced with a complete new factory part. If this isn't enough, it is then explained to them that one can't change the arm on one side of the car only. Both sides have to be replaced simultaneously.. What does this all cost? I can leave it to your imagination!
Now which part of this is founded in real honest to goodness fact, and which isn't?
Let me get one thing straight from the word go.....unless the arm itself is damaged, perhaps as the result of an accident, there is no need to replace it. If it is the bushings that are worn, it is the bushings that need to be replaced, and only the bushings. True the bushings need to be replaced on both sides simultaneously, but again, that means just the bushings, not the whole arm!
So why do we get told this? The reason very likely is that the dealer is committed to using only original OEM parts in their repair shop. Fair enough, if that is their policy then fine, but the problem is that in most cases, the manufacturer does not offer replacement OEM bushings for sale as independent items. You buy the whole arm or nothing. Take it or leave it!
As a result you end up paying a small fortune for new bushings because you have to buy and replace two whole new control arms just to get the bushings.
So what is the solution? Aftermarket bushings! It's as simple as that. A great variety of class bushings are available and, what is even better news, is that they are available in new hi-tech polyurethane which will not deteriorate and break down in a few short years, as will the old style rubber bushings.
The cost of quality polyurethane replacement bushings is not large. In fact it's only a fraction of what the new arms will cost, and they can be replaced by any decent mechanic, and in many cases by savvy DIY owners, working from their own home workshop. One caveat though, do not attempt the job unless you are sure that you have the experience and the necessary tools to do it.

Enjoy Performance at Its Best With Gm Suspension Bushings and Clutch Kit
GM quality car parts are the ones that make up every GM vehicle. With such important functions to perform, it is a must to keep them properly maintained.
GM suspension bushings are basically used to connect the various moving arms and pivot points to the chassis and other parts of the suspension. These can be found in many locations on the suspension system. These bushings often take the form of an annular cylinder of flexible material inside a metallic casing or outer tube. They might also feature an internal crush tube which protects the bushing from being crushed by the fixings which hold it on to a threaded spigot.
GM suspension bushings can be made from different materials such as natural rubber and urethane compound. Natural rubber is specially with high tensile strength and excellent stability at low temperatures. Natural rubber suspension bushings require no lubrication, isolates minor vibration, reduces transmitted road shock and operates noise free. Polyurethane or Urethane suspension bushings, however, increase the performance handling characteristics of the vehicle since urethane is a firmer material then rubber. Polyurethane can be as soft as a rubber band or as hard as plastic. GM suspension bushings should be replaced if they are cracked, elongated, oil saturated, or worn. Looseness, cracks and off set bolts are the most common signs of bushings in need of replacement.
Equally important as keeping a vehicle's suspension at its best is giving the best maintenance for the the vehicle's manual transmission. And the best GM part to do just that is the GM clutch kit. The GM clutch is a subcomponent of the manual transmission system. Its function is to engage and disengage the engine to the gearbox and transfer torque to the vehicle's transmission in split-seconds.
A GM clutch kit is composed of a clutch disc or a clutch friction disc and clutch pressure plate. Some clutch kits however already have pilot bushings or pilot bearings included. The pressure plate is consist of a clutch plate, springs, cover and release fingers. There are two types of pressure plates namely the diaphragm-type and the spring-type. The clutch disc is a metal disc that directs the flow of power between the engine and the transmission along with the pressure plate and the flywheel. Regular clutch discs are lined with asbestos which is the same material that is used in brake shoes and pads to achieve friction. A clutch with better materials used for friction and stronger springs to go with it can give faster and harder launches, quicker shifts, and much better durability. A GM clutch kit basically has the components needed to restore clutch performance. With a complete GM clutch kit, all damaged components can be replaced all at once so that they can function and fit well together.

Sqeaky Rear suspension?
hey guys. i got a 93 mustang gt with aftermarket control arms in the back, and something is squeaking. i cant find what exactly it is since theres just too many places.
it sounds like a plastic on metal squeak, maybe a urethane bushing, and its only when i hit bumps that is makes noise. getting pretty annoying, and was wondering what joint it could be, and what i can use to get rid of the squeak.
plus, i only have the equipment to get the rear end about a foot higher than curb height.
silicone spray will work fine?
The Polyurethane bushings weren't lubed before they were installed. You may be able to limit the squeaking by lubing the pins and anywhere the bushings touch metal.
YUP! That means taking the control arms out!
If you don't like that option: Plan B, turn up the radio.
