Getting more out your truck is important to you. If you are considering installing truck performance upgrades, make sure that you know what you are getting into. While many modifications can be simple and cost effective, the larger and more involved projects can become quite costly and require professional help (or at least tools). The first step is to define exactly what you want to upgrade. This will largely depend on what you intend to use the truck for.
Off Road: If you're going off road with your truck, you'll need a completely different set of upgrades than those who want to haul items. For instance, you will very possibly want to invest in a lift kit. This sets the body of the truck up higher. It is very important to note that only the body of the truck is affected; the axles (and the all important differential) remain at factory height. The only way to raise the axles and drive train up with the body is to invest in larger wheels and tires. The larger the diameter of your wheel, the higher the truck will sit. Also, your tires can add a good bit of height, as well. You may also wish to invest in "mudder" tires; these are specifically designed for off road use; using them on the road can wear them out quickly.
Towing: If you are going to haul heavy loads with your truck, there are a couple of performance upgrades that you can perform. Adding an additional towing package to your truck is advisable. You will need to check your OEM towing capacity to find out exactly what kind of towing package you will need. In addition to the obvious things, such as heavier hitches and sturdier construction, these kits come with important items like transmission coolers. A transmission cooler is a vital item for heavy hauling. Basically, it is simply a series of lines, hoses and fins that routes transmission fluid in front of your radiator to cool it with passing air. Overheating your transmission is the number one cause of transmission failure in any vehicle. Investing in a professional towing package will also give you the wiring you need for trailer lights.
Speed: If you are interested in enhancing the speed of your truck, there are quite a few upgrades available for your needs. The first thing that you can do is to invest in a cold air intake. These operate by supplying the engine with a constant supply of cold air. Cold air is denser than warm air, increasing the amount of burn you get out of your fuel, thus increasing horsepower. Usually, these will run down towards the bottom section of the front side of your engine. Additionally, you can consider adding a turbo to the engine. These can be easily located for a number of different truck brands. If you own a diesel truck, chances are you already have a turbo installed. Upgrading to a larger turbo will give you more power in this case. Truck spoilers are another option. These are designed to keep the down force of the wind pressing down on the back of the truck, where extra force is needed. Stay away from roof mounted spoilers; these add no performance to your truck, only drag and extra weight.
No matter why you want to upgrade the performance of your truck, you can find a variety of different ways to go about it. The first step, as mentioned, is to define your needs. Once done, you'll need to find a quality retailer that offers performance related accessories that fit your truck. Remember that "universal" products are ok, but OEM specific products are much better.

Aveo – the Next Best Selling Chevrolet
The 2007 Aveo sedan is much-enhanced and coming to Chevy dealers across the country as a four and five-seater. It has the presence, emotions and looks of a car in the compact class. Pricing of the Aveo LS starts at $12,950 while the LT is at $15,450.
The power for the Aveo comes from a 1.6-litre, 16-valve four-cylinder producing 103 hp and 107 ft/lb of torque with what Chevrolet calls its Variable Geometry Induction System. There is a standard five-speed manual transmission with an optional four-speed automatic for this front driver.
The automatic features what Chevy calls Hold Control Mode. It lets the driver select and hold the transmission in a higher gear that yields torque to the front wheels to reduce wheel spin and traction loss on clever road surfaces.
Though fuel economy figures have not been released, the 2007 Aveo sedan assures a quality Chevy catalytic converter for cleaner emissions.
The Chevy Aveo is equipped to meet Canadian safety standards with standard duel rate front airbags and optional side-impact airbags for more torso and head protection. Standard safety features include four channel ABS with Electronic Brake Force Distribution, front-seat belts with front-load limiters, lower anchors for children’s’ seats and height-adjustable shoulder belt anchors.
Its trunk behind the 60/40 split rear seats offers 350 litres (12.4 cu ft) of luggage capacity. And it is quite easy to stow ski bags with all the boots and poles with the back seats folded flat.
Aside from the standard front headrests that tilt, the doors and seatbacks have pockets and hooks on the headrest posts to hold grocery bags or even backpacks. The Aveo also has a tilt steering wheel, remote keyless entry and cruise control is an option.
The LT has fog lamps, power heated side-mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, power door locks, remote keyless entry, power windows and a “no charge” sunroof.
A special edition RS is also available. For $1,095 more, it your Aveo will get an iPod, premium six-speaker sound system, steering wheel audio controls, 15-inch aluminum wheels and spoiler.
The interior has a two-tone color scheme, stain chrome plus carbon-fiber look accents and very realistic looking “simul-wood” trim pieces. The LT also offers a power sunroof and heated body-color outside mirrors that are seldom optional extras in this segment.
Another standard is the AM/FM stereo with four speakers plus an optional system that supports MP3/CDs. An auxiliary jack for MP3 players is standard. A six-speaker sound system that supports MP3/CDs and an optional six-disc CD changer are still included in the list of options.
Chevrolet has the steering box fixed to the cross member of the front suspension for stability. The speed-sensitive power steering allows quick turns at slow speeds. Shorter wheelbases always mean quick reaction in cornering and this is enhanced by a front stabilizer bar.
So, are you looking for a stylish, but stout subcompact? The Chevrolet Aveo is a perfect choice.

How much to paint my 79 Camaro, plus racing stripe?
I'm buying a 1997 Chevy Camaro Berlinetta. It's allready Orange, which I like, but faded on the top to the point where you see the white primer through the orange. I'll keep the Orange color, but want to add 2 black stripes, about 8 inches each, to the top. It's a Corvette "T" Top with a spoiler and air induction on the hood. So, in California, what do you think this will run me?
an arm and a leg. if you suck my dick ill do it for free
