Air Cleaner For Pet Odor--4 Reasons It's The Best Solution
Pet odor is tough stuff. It's often hard to locate the source of the odor, and once you do it's even more difficult to eliminate the odor in a safe and effective way. And if your pet continues to have accidents it becomes a vicious cycle that can still leave your home smelling awful. Here are 4 reasons why using an air cleaner is the best way to get the results you want.
Non-invasive-Filtering your air with a cleaner removes rather than adds pollutants in the form of sprays, powders, and plug in deodorants that simply cover up rather than eliminate odor. Covering the odor with sprays or perfumes rather getting rid of it is only a temporary solution. And once those other odors dissipate, the pet odor becomes obvious again. Cleaning the air means just that-getting rid of the odor and other micron size particulates like dust, dust mites, mold and mildew spores, pollen, bacteria and viruses.
Hands Off Approach-Continuous filtration takes the pressure off you to shop for and remember when and what you need to add to your rug, floors or air to deal with the odor. Having an air purifier constantly filtering the air all day every day keeps your home smelling fresh and clean with no effort from you.
Never again will your carpet be off limits until it dries. And you will always be able to enjoy your family room and living room because you will no longer need to apply a neutralizing powder on the floor that you are then forced to inhale whenever you move about.
It's Earth Friendly--Unlike air purifiers that produce ozone, HEPA filtration produces only fresh clean air as a byproduct. And we can all benefit from more of that. This makes HEPA's safe not only in your home but for the earth as well, and it is the technology that hospitals use to keep their air fresh and clean.
Be sure to avoid cleaners that produce any amount of ozone as the American Lung Association feels that any amount of ozone is unhealthy for humans and pets. The atmospheric damage caused by ozone is believed to contribute to global warming.
Saves Money-There is no shortage of methods that you can try to alleviate odor, but all of them cost money which you generally cannot recoup. They also cost you your time which you can't ever get back.
Using a method of filtration technology that is recognized as effective and used by the medical community is a powerful endorsement for HEPA filtration, and choosing a cleaner that does the job right the first time definitely saves you money.

*HVAC pro* Why does HOME AC blow cold but NO AIR PRESSURE from vents?
My Home air conditioning system is a gas furnace and the condensor is outside, the furnace is in the attic where I change the filter. It blows cold air at the right temperature but the air pressure is very low, so low that when I put my hand to the vents I barely feel any air coming out. When I set the temperature to 70, the AC stays on all day but never cools the house to 70, so it just keeps going. I've checked the filters and change them regularly. the coils are clean. the duct work looks good at a glance, but I haven't went through and checked every single one because I don't know if this is likely to be the problem. What else could it be?
1. What does the air sound like moving thru the filter? If its noisy then you have an undersized return thus limiting the amount of air that can be supplied. Another sign will be if the airflow increases without the filter in.
2. Are there registers that have an adequate amount of air or more than enough? The system may be out of balance. check the dampers if you have any. In the attic look to see if there is a duct run that runs off from the end of the plenum (box at the end of the coil) if so - your ductwork is installed improperlly.
3. The fan speed could be set to low with a combination of being low on refrigerant?
4. The blower motor (fan) could have a weak run capacitor
5. A combination of all of the above
