2000 Honda Accord V6 EX Cold Air Intake System?
Hi Im 17 years old && I have a 2000 Honda Accord V6 EX, with about 139,000 miles on it. Mainly driven on high way and stuff. But anyways, I was thinking about purchasing a Cold Air Intake for the car. What type of Intake is best to buy? How hard is it to Install it? How will my car benefit from it? Will the my car Rev making louder powerfully noises.
Lastly, I was doing some research on eBAY, and i see they have some cold air intakes for honda accord 2000 models for about $30-50. Then I see some AEM intakes for about $300 dollars. I see Short Ram Intakes and I see some Bigger Intakes (bigger pipe) Whats the difference between short ram and the other? What the best one?
Or what do you guys/girls think I should do?

Just to keep things short and simple
-cold air intake-
pros: higher hp gains, sounds better (imo)
cons: chance of hydro-lock, expensive, slightly harder to install, also hard to change filter if behind bumper
-short ram-
pros: better than stock (breaths better), easier to change filter, won't hydro-lock
cons: sucks in warmer air (less O2 in warm air, thus less combustion, thus less power)
I would stick with the trusted name brands suck as Injen and AEM. Its up to you to buy used or brand new, just make sure you get a new filter if you get it used.
